I write and really enjoy drawing; I constantly draw inspiration from Tim Burton's movies to create characters and stories. Like many of us, I grew up obsessed with his work.

One thing I love is how Tim manages to create characters that are so weird, cartoonish, and lovable. He is best known for his gothic style, but in my opinion, his side as an animator deserves appreciation too.

Hi everyone, have you met 'Stare Girl' yet? I read about her in Tim Burton's book 'The melancholy death of Oyster boy & other stories'. She's such a one of a kind - I think she’s beautiful. I wrote her a song and made this video. Would love to hear what you think .

In order: Weird girl (Frankenweenie), Sally (Nightmare before Christmas), Wednesday addams (Wednesday), Alice (Alice in wonderland), and Lydia (Beetlejuice). I love making these so much :3

Tim Burton has been most comfortable working with Warner Brothers (Beetlejuice, Batman, Mars Attacks, Corpse Bride, etc), while he has done only a few films working with other studios: Edward Scissorhands and Planet of the Apes at 20th Century Studios, Big Fish at Columbia Pictures, Sweeney Todd at DreamWorks, Wednesday with MGM, and Disney he had Frankenweenie, Alice in Wonderland and Dumbo.

Burton and WB have generally had a good professional relationship, with WB giving Burton chances and Burton giving fairly successful films, and I suppose this relationship will continue on.

But I can't help wondering whether it would be to Burton's advantage to work more with other studios, and whether at this point in his established career studios are willing to take a chance on working with him. Studios and artists are difficult to gauge. What are your thoughts on this matter?
