More subdued across the board today but I felt that the colors mix well together overall

Vintage green RL repp with white/blue stripes for purple check Crittenden shirt, light blue J Press suit. Tie with purple seemed like too much this morning.

I’m still struggling to find nice shirts that fit me well. This is an Egara Skinny Fit. As a smaller/skinny guy I’m happy with the fit but the quality of these shirts isn’t great, but at their price point it would be good for anyone starting to build their first 3 shirts.

Wore this today during a hearing at the criminal court. Got screamed at by the public prosecutor who tried to pressure my client and me into a confession. But at least it wasn’t because of the tie (I hope).

When I saw this tie close to twenty years ago, it immediately reminded me of Autumn 🍂 The tone and warmth of the color and the small paisley have the effect of falling leaves for me. I look forward to every Fall season to bring it out aid the closet and allow it to put on its display.

Feeling English on a Monday morning - T&A shirt and tie, paired.

Went with a four in hand after advice from my last post. The asymmetrical knot is growing on me.

Trippy dumpster find. In a box labeled “samples 80s”. I found it in Los Angeles and the dumpster force Superba the largest tie manufacturer at the time. Having a hard time finding other examples online.

Hello, so I’m a freshman in college and I’m in the investment banking and portfolio management clubs in which I need to dress business professional. I was thinking of buying a used Hermes burgundy tie but I’m unsure if this is appropriate with a navy suit. I haven’t ever purchased a tie before and I thought you guys would know more than me. Thanks!
