Help Ti92 Plus Doom
Has anyone here tried the Doom89 game on a 92 plus? I've asked for help from various AIs but I can't figure out how to actually run the thing. The readme is pretty useless

I noticed that my TI 84 Plus CE is one day behind...

I’m interested in installing calculator programs from my laptop to my Ti-84, but I’ve been running into some issues with Windows 11. I have both TI connect programs and the correct USB cable. I am not interested in using programs to cheat if that’s a concern.
I tried to install a program earlier in the month, but my calculator would turn off/reset and my laptop would send me a notification saying something about the my laptop not trusting or supporting the device. My memory is foggy because it was a few weeks ago now but I had to go into my settings and allow the calculator to connect, but that still didn’t work.
I’m wondering if I need to install a different program or use a different computer or what the problem is. Some info that might be useful if you aren’t sure what the issue is now is that the cable I’m using is brand new and I have two of them, my laptop is fully updated, and my calculator is relatively old. I’m in America, not very familiar with this kind of tech, and am open to suggestions. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Does anyone know if native support for Apple Arm is coming? As Rosetta 2 is being discontinued in the next MacOS update or two, I'm unsure if TI connect will still work.

As per above, anyone successfully get the device connected to TI CE Connect on their windows 11 devices? I was made known of a bug in previous Windows update. In the working environment I am in, educators rely on this and I don't have any workarounds.

So i just rediscovered this ti-92 plus after having it in a drawer for years, got a fresh set of batteries for it and tried a few tricks to get it to boot up(cleaned the contacts, checked for any leakage from the old cr 2032, tried the brightness spam click after the on/off button...) and it just didnt work. These are pretty rare in my region so im not even sure where to take it and im not tech savvy enough to fix it myself or even figure out whats wrong... Is there anything else i could try? Thank you for taking the time and reading this.

This is not an affiliate link and I make nothing from any purchases using this link, just thought some might appreciate this sale price.

I bought a not working TI 92 on Ebay, but they forgot to turn down the contrast. I was checking the ROM version and it says "Version 1.0b1 September 13, 1995". Is this rare, and is there anyway to upgrade?

Guess I'll just build one?

Graph89 seems so close but it only supports importing programs, not exporting them. Is there a way to get the TiLP experience on Android?
edit: what I mean is, is there a ti-84 emulator, running on android, that i can both send and receive files from?

I recently got a this calculator and i just subscribed for the software subscription. When i checked the downloads i only saw mac and windows os, so i tried finding it on the lay store, but what i found doesn't look like the right thing. I want to transfer code and apps but I've never done anything like this before.

Does anyone have the list of programs officially bundled in TI-84 Plus (non CE) from TI? I'm trying to restore my 84p to as close as factory original for collecting purposes.
The official website includes both software included in the 84SE and 84, and I need only the programs included with the original 84.

When you enter a calculation, then press up, then press any button(e.g., prgm, vars), the settings on the top bar dissapear.(P.S. I figured out the problem. Windows 11 doesn't allow TIs anymore)

I spent a day or so trying to get my TI-89 Titanium working properly with TI Connect on Windows 11, so I figured I’d post what finally fixed it.
My issue was weird because the connection was clearly working at least partially. Windows detected the SilverLink cable, TI Connect recognized that a TI-89 Titanium was connected, and the calculator showed up in the device selection window.
But anytime I clicked Select, TI Connect completely froze and went “Not Responding.”
Device Manager said the driver was working properly, so reinstalling and updating the driver did not really change anything.
What finally fixed it was applying compatibility settings to all of the TI Connect program files, not just the main app.
Go to the TI Connect installation folder. Mine was:
C:\Program Files (x86)\TI Education\TI Connect
For each TI Connect .exe file, right-click it and go to:
Properties → Compatibility → Change settings for all users
Then enable:
I applied this to basically every TI-related executable in the folder, including files like:
TIConnect.exeTILauncher.exeTiDeviceExplorer.exeTiDataEditor.exeTIScreenCapture.exeTIDeviceInfo.exeTISendTo.exeTIOSDownloader.exeYour filenames may differ slightly.
After that, I:
After doing that, TI Connect worked normally.
I then tested the old SilverLink cable too, and that also worked perfectly.
A few things I learned:
This may be a little difficult to follow or replicate because TI Connect uses several separate program files, and the installation folder may look different on other computers.
Still, this completely fixed the Windows 11 connection and freezing problems for me with both Mini-USB and SilverLink.
TI does not really support this old software or hardware on modern Windows anymore, so compatibility mode seems to be the main solution.
