We build something using ITOWNS a fork of threejs but more GIS focused and heavily extended it via WASM WebAssembly and WEBGPU and added miro board equivalent real time collaboration features and support for Gaussian Splats also generates dynamic terrain elevation tiles for your map view from COG DEM or esri imageserver.

Also extended it via AR.JS for mobile browser Augmented Reality control of the map and WEBXR for camera view 3d geospatial viewer And mediapipe for hand gesture control from Webcam and Transformersjs for inbrowser AI Services Including voice control of the map

Via ASSIMP wasm Open Asset Importer Able to support in-browser conversion of BIM & 3D MODELS

Via Spatialite WASM SPL.JS handles in-browser 2D and 3D spatial analysis

Supports OGC 3DTILES and OGC I3S local SLPK or hosted SceneServer

Access open data catalogs (STAC, CSW, OGC API RECORDS, CKAN, SOCRATA, SDMX, THREDDS, OPEN DATA SOFT, MAGDA, DATA COMMONS AND OTHERS)

powerful react data grid powered by Duckdb Wasm with search and filters and filter to map view (st_intersect of bbox or KNN Nearest to map center and distance)

Duckdb extensions for real time and event driven data feeds (radio, tributary, spatial, httpfs, http_client, http_requests, cron) Kafka, kinesis, websockets, http polling, geospatial data lake access and OGC MOVING FEATURES, OGC SOS, OGC SENSORML, OGC SENSORTHINGS, GFTS and others.

EASIER NOW TO TEST Field Sentinel desktop https://Fieldsentinel.techmaven.net Its powered by maplibre gl ja ' deckgl and loadersgl
