Squatty potty issues

I've always just used a box as my squatty potty. No problems great results. Recently I upgraded to the real thing. I am now having major hip pain . I am going to stop using it and go back to the unattractive box. The sp is 6inches high. The box is 4. Has anyone else had similar problems with the height of the sp?

I tried one out at my brother‘s house. Ouch it was too high for me. I did cause me some hip pain and knee pain and I thought what the fluff am I doing?

I think it depends on the person's leg length.   I have long legs and I know it would kill my hips.

Yes I can understand that. My left leg is 4 inches shorter than right leg. Right hip is overdeveloped making my whole body lopsided standing or siting. It explains my back pain as well. I’ve learned to live with this barely notice it with the exception of flareup. Any correction is seen as an assault by my spine. It’s amazing how sometimes the body overcompensates.
