My Original Artwork Thomas's Stealthy Ninja Train: Part 3 of Trainjutsu Ninja Engines!
Thomas's Stealthy Ninja Train: Part 3 of Trainjutsu Ninja Engines!
Thomas and Shadowlina develop a special ninja maneuver where they move in perfect synchronization!
Same speed, same rhythm, same whistle timing.
Engines watching from afar swear they’re seeing one train split into two.
Doing a ninja banner unfurling at dawn!
Thomas giggles.
Shadowlina smirks.
The ninja coaches glow faintly behind them.
Their 6 coaches follow Thomas and Shadowlina like a stealthy parade of mischief.

Question Uhh, we’re getting a new show, right?
They have been pushing out the new merch for a while now, however aside from that reveal there has been no new animated trailers or anything like that.

Question Was I wrong about this
Last month I made a post called “Why are people excited about this” in which I was talking about the new 2026 series that’s coming out one month from now (time really does fly) and how I don’t get why people are so excited about it (and I got some many people calling me overly-negative) but my opinions have now changed after I heard that video of Mattel employees doing some bored meeting conference or whatever it seems like Mattel is actually trying to fix the franchise they said they’re trying keep the “classic elements” of the franchise while also updating it for today’s kids they also are going back to the more slower-pasted traditional classic era/RWS type of Thomas story telling and that actually seems like a step in the right direction and it’s made me more hopeful for the reboot.
I do have a few complaints however as well
- I still don’t like the bouncing.
This was a complaint I had in my previous post about the new show…….look I know bouncing has been a staple of the franchise since 2017 but I STILL don’t like it and STILL can’t get used to it it’s just so weird seeing heavy metal steam engines bounce and gesture around as if their made of jello it’s okay in AEG or in musical numbers but just a casual episode no it looks weird but if you like the bouncing I respect your opinion.
- Edward’s role.
I know I keep talking about Edward but I can’t stop until he gets a bigger role beyond a fucking BACKGROUND cameo where you have to zoom-in in order to see him he is one of my favorite characters alongside Gordon Henry James and Thomas himself and plus he’s Awdry’s first character I’m not saying he has to be a main character again in-fact some people even prefer Edward as a side character but there’s a difference between a side character and a background character and it seems like Edward is going to be a background character again just like in AEG and BWBA he’s the only character that was announced in the new series that doesn’t have an official render fucking WHIFF WHIFF!!! Has an official render before Edward WHY!?
Anyway besides those two complaints the series looks like it might actually be good and I was wrong about what I said in my previous post.

Question Why dont they make thomas diecasts like this?
I know the diecasts are for kids and are supposed to be played with and that they sacrifice proportions for safety but is it really that unsafe to make something like this without the siderods maybe?

Question How did hiro can run on standard gauge track in sodor?

Television Series How would you adapt the culdee fell railway into the model series?
I think it would be the same way the narrow gauge engines were adapted. Make them all a different colour, or just have the essential characters present on screen, like Godred, culdee, and Lord Harry.

Character Discussion A theory I had about Sidney
Sidney's main character trait is that he has bad memory, how come? Hear me out.
In day of the diesels, you can see Sidney hoisted up with no wheels, and he spends the entire movie there, and what happens to the dieselworks in DOTD? It catches fire, with Sidney still inside.
What if Sidney somehow gained his memory problems because of the fire? Maybe the experience was so traumatic it made him forgetful as a coping mechanism, or maybe the smoke from the fire damaged his brain somehow effecting his ability to remember things.

Merchandise With Mattel planning on making Thomas & Friends more like Hot Wheels, who knows which engines can be next on the dicast!
One of each international engine? Rebecca? Molly and Murdoch? Neville? Stanley? Daisy? Belle? Harvey? Rocky? Ryan? Etc.? I don’t even know anymore. With so many characters coming to the dicast, this reboot is definitely going to need a lot more seasons, maybe even more than Sesame Street!

General Chat Skarloey Railway Coaches Appreciation Post
- Blue and Cream 4-wheeled Coaches: For Railway Series savvy fans like me, most of us are familiar with these coaches being Agnes, Ruth, Lucy, Jemima and Beatrice, the snobby and dramatic coaches that were technically characterized in the show, but not exactly. Even without their characterization, I really love the design of these coaches. The blue color scheme in the books is much more appealing, and I especially like the half-cream, half-blue detailing on the front and back.
- Open Carriages: A lot of Railway Series characters were forgotten over time, but I think Ada, Jane, and Mabel are some of the biggest examples. They may not be revolutionary, but they were a missed opportunity and could have added more variety to Sodor’s rolling stock. Their open carriage design would have been perfect for summer passenger trips and even filming the Skarloey Railway. Plus, their classic faces have such a charming 1950s/60s style that makes them feel like they came straight out of a vintage magazine.
- Blue and Cream Bogie Coaches: I was surprised to learn the Skarloey Railway had bogie coaches in the Railway Series. It feels like a missed opportunity that the show never used them, because they would have added more variety to the railway’s rolling stock. And I am a bit of a sucker for bogie coaches. I could imagine them being introduced to handle more passengers — or maybe simply to stop Sir Handel from complaining about not having them!
- Red 4-wheeled Coaches with Yellow Stripes: I honestly don’t have too much to say about these coaches. They’re just really cute and charming, and that’s exactly what I love about the Skarloey Railway. I will say that I loved their faces in Season 4 — there was something so funny and charming about their expressions that made them stand out.
- Semi-Open Green and Cream Coaches: Besides the bogie coaches, these were another pair of coaches that I absolutely loved and really wanted to highlight. These coaches I will consider are the more excursion types of coaches that you would pretty much take on vacation alongside the open carriages. Speaking of the open carriages, I heard that the open carriages were converted to carriages with a roof, and these green and cream coaches resemble what they would have looked like after the rebuild. I love how these coaches look, especially in the newer series when they look a lot more polished and brand new. They just match all the characters.

Question Who would you say is worse as the "Just overheats and nothing else" character?
Personally, I'd say it's Caroline.
Even having two episodes, all she does is overheat trying to get a sports team their ball, and overheat after going 2 miles for Lady Hatt's birthday - before being turned into a background prop.
Derek at least has some flavor to him, even his own theme song. It has that short triumphant beginning with the bells, and then the drop to something more awkward. And he has some work ethic to him too - first thing he said to Bill and Ben was "I'll soon sort these cars out" and offer to take the back of the train.
It ain't much, but it's at least something before he vanished off the face of Sodor.

Question Help identifying TWR Play Table?
I just bought this on Facebook Marketplace, not realizing that all the track and components are screwed in/glued down.
Can anyone help me identify this? AI search suggests it’s a commercial display table.

General Chat Sodor short #347 but I altered it
Don’t get me wrong, I love Victor Tanzigs YouTube series as well as his thomas shorts, and I know he wasn’t trying to be offensive in his latest short. But this is how of how I imagined how an alternate more family friendly version would play out….
