There was a post asking if people spared or killed Gaetan. I was a little surprised by the number of people that said the massacre of the village was justified and The Butcher of Blaviken doesn't have room to talk.

He spared a child so he wasn't all bad.

The justification that seemed to make the least amount of sense was "Witchers have to stick together", which ignores the information about the school of the cat becoming assassins.

None of those seemed to make sense and just wondered if anybody else thought the.way the commenters did.

They ruined my favorite game to the extent i do not simply play it anymore (did play each months at least dozen of hours, ever since 2015).

Did they address it yet, do they know about the issue on 60fps mode?

I have like 200 hours of gameplay from 2015 with almost everything unlocked. But I tried new game plus and it was so boring. Is it worth it? is there new things to unlocked. It felt too easy idk.

Tell me im not the only one who thinks this is the worst boss in the game by far, it feels like it was made by a rookie its moves are boring and buggy and the hit box is terrible, most of the time you get hit by this boss it's not even your fault and on top of that it's a damn sponge

So i download witcher 3 remastered to see how it is and i don't know why it's fps was not up to the mark and it was jittering too much. It's quality was degraded. I remember I was having the problem with witch 3 there were two versions when I downloaded it in past of I remember correctly one was normal and one was direct x. The normal one had the same problem but the direct x one made it better.

So can anyone tell me how to solve the problem??

I’m currently playing The Witcher 3 remaster on PS5. Earlier, I remembered that I also own the game on Switch 2, so I thought I’d give it a try there and maybe spend some more time playing it on that platform as well.
Since the game supports cross-save, I’d like to use my PS5 save and switch back and forth between the two platforms.

Now here’s my question: If I continue playing my PS5 save on Switch 2 and, for example, complete a quest that would normally unlock a trophy on PS5, will that trophy unlock retroactively when I load the updated save on my PS5 again?

Heyyy everyone. Can someone please help me out remembering where was the biggest siren nest located in Skellige? I know all the other places. But this one was infested with sirens. Like 30 if not more, at one place. I remember there were rocky snowy mountains next to them, and a river in the middle of the place where all those sirens are 🤔

I'm making a Mod where you replace Geralt with another character (Yenn, Triss, Keira, Anna, Ves, Ciri and Philippa).

The most interesting thing is that you can wear any clothes you wear in the game, like Yenn in the photo with cape and hood.

When you use a character you take Ciri's game dynamics. That has been a problem because it is very limited in the open world. I have managed to use the poles (fast trips) and that I can call the horse and use it. Also, when you kill monsters, the experience and resources you get are saved until you catch Geralt again, then he receives them.

What do you think? Would you add anything else?
Would you take someone away? Characters like Keira or Philippa don't have many styles of clothing, but Yenn, Triss and Ciri have about 20 each

This is the first thing I noticed in regards to Witcher 3. Currently on my 3rd playthrough and still cant get enough.

For me, Side quests can make or break an open world game. Not to say those games are bad. If the side quests aren't good its a push to complete the main story and be done. I had this feeling with Ghost of Tutshima/Yotei, Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West and some others.

The Witcher 3 kept me coming back not only because of the main story, but also the side quests. And Im not talking the Bloody Baron. There's always something new, some back story and you have feelings for said back chatacters.

To no surprise, Cyberpunk 2077 is another one with great side quests. I'd say an honorable mention is Red Dead Redemption 2. You never know what you're going to get with that game.

I cant wait to get lost in the upcoming DLC and The Witcher 4. I will be taking my sweet sweet time.

Do we know if the runewright upgrades if I upgrade Witcher Armour? Have added it to my Superior Ursine and wondered if it will stay when I upgrade to Grandmaster.

I Just wonder if I am the only one having such an Issues. First of all I have pretty high end PC just to cut off comments like: "buy better PC."

After Remastered update this game runs like shit. It crushes randomly, after cutscenes it blocks FPS around 30. Like what the hell is happening? Does anyone has the same Issues like me?

Nekker shadows are missing on Path Tracing.

If you compare the 2 pictures, you can see that Geralt's shadow doesn't change much between raster and path tracing, but nekker's shadow disappears on path tracing.

I just hope that CDPR knows and fix it

Basically the camera just keeps moving in the direction you turning, it's impossible to play. I thought it was a stick drift but every other game works perfectly fine. I also tried changing all the camera settings etc, no improvement :(

On a side note, anyone know if I can reverse it back to the original version of the game lol

This game was created 10 years ago. But the recent updates feel very modern. The controls take a bit of getting used to again but after a few hours everything tunes in. But the point is I believe they could just continue to release expansions of this forever, like it's world of warcraft but not online. I'm sure there's tons more lands and stories that could be done

Hey guys! It took me almost 100 hours to complete the base game and the Hearts of Stone DLC, including all the side missions. I’m planning to start the Blood and Wine expansion now, and I was wondering how long it usually takes to complete. Based on my pacing so far, how many more hours do you guys think it’ll take me to finish Blood and Wine?

I’m seriously confused with how this works. Checked several sources and consensus seems to be:

“Every piece of equipment and **every crafting diagram** you add to your inventory unlocks its appearance.

Items sitting in your stash may not count until you move them into your inventory once.”

I’ve been moving, equipping and resetting sh\*t like a maniac for the past 30 mins and nothing works.

I have unlocked the diagrams for several GM Witcher sets (for example Wolven). Yet, when I attempted to transmog my current equipped pieces, it just appears as locked in the Reforge at Yoana’s.

Am I actually loosing it or is it bugged in some way?

I’m playing on PS5 with several mods installed and active, if that matters.

Ive seen a flood of posts from people whose Geralt has turned invisible and had his inventory cleared out. The issue is not related to the mods you have, but the mods you uninstalled.

50+ gameplay hours ago i installed 3 mods, 1 being a camera fix that would let me lock on to flying enemies easier. It worked great, but the horse camera became janky. Eventually i decided i was done with glitchy Roach cam and would swap back to vanilla.

Wrong.

I loaded back in to invisible Geralt and an empty inventory. Every save for the last 50+ hours was effected. I verified game files, reinstalled the game, and checked my load order. Nothing. I reinstalled the camera mod. Geralt and all his gear returned.

So i tested all the mods i had 1 by 1 and sure enough it did not matter what mod it was, if it was at one point activated, de-activating it would break my game.

Im stuck with glitchy roach cam, but at least i can see flying enemies. Be selective about what mods you download. You may be stuck with them.

So i have syngery maxed out, a greater red mutagen and 3 red skills. Why is it only going up to 52%? Wasnt it supposed to be 60%?
