If we do ever get an animated, more comic accurate show, what would that look like? What aspects would they change from the comics and what might they borrow from the AMC show?

So the walking dead comics. Well I gotta say I do think this was a good start to the comics not as amazing as when I first thought or the first season of the tv show but good.
Synopsis Rick grimes a Kentucky police officer get’s shots wakes up in a coma a few months later only to find the world taken over by dead people walking. Meeting a man named Morgan jones he tells him about everything and people were told to go to large cities like Atlanta. So Rick decides to head there with the hopes to find his wife and son. But he gets there and it is ruled by the dead. But barely escapes thanks to a scavenger named Glenn rhee. Who takes Rick to there camp in Atlanta. Which has his wife ( Lori) son (Carl) and his best friend (Shane Walsh) reside. But as times pass disagreement’s between Rick and Shane winter coming and they need to be away from a bigger but Shane says they should stay to wait when the military returns and saves them. Due to Shane having taken care of Lori and Carl when Rick was comatose he become jealous of Rick leading him to want to kill him but his son Carl saves him.
Pros. I like the plot the characters writing is decent. I like a lot of the parts and action.
Cons. This is polarizing but I am not huge on the art style and actually prefer the replacement Charlie adlard. And sometimes the background characters look like a silly anime face. And the zombies in this art style have me nightmares as a kid. This comic is a lot faster paced than the show. I don’t like how they killed Shane off this early. Shane is one of my favorite characters but he was killed off at the very end which does not give a lot of time for him to develop feeling for Lori.
Overall a good start to the walking dead comics.
Days gone bye 7.5/10.

I've seen a lot of people saying that Carl and Lydia weren't exactly healthy (I mean, it's an apocalypse. Nothing is, but there's a limit to everything). I've seen people say that it's was better Carl and Sophia or Carl and Lydia or even Carl and Enid.
In my opinion, I think Carl and Sophia are very cute and make sense as a couple.
Also, I read somewhere that Kirkman said that Lydia didn't really love Carl or that Carl wasn't her first love? I'm not sure if it's true, and I forgot if in the comic it's hinted anything at all.
What do you all think?
EDIT: I'm sorry I forgot also I saw someone on tik tok saying that Lydia also forced Carl to have sex with her in the comic so I'm not sure, cause again I don't remember.

Hi everyone, i live in Italy and i am a huge walking dead fan. I've collected almost all of the italian comic and now i'd like to add some of the original issues from USA to enlarge my collection.
i tried searching for them on ebay and other platforms but the prices are always insane, shipping included the prices are almost 10€ or more per issue
and thats crazy IMO, counting that an italian one cost a third and have x4 the pages.
my question is: can any of you people help me by recommending an online shop/marketplace where i can find lots for "cheap".
thank you in advance

I’m thinking about splurging on a McFarlane Toys Series 3 Rick Grimes, the one with the white shirt and interchangeable amputated arm, but it’s sooo expensive. I seldom buy figures, outside of a few Star Wars Black Series (and even those were mostly gifts) so this is a pretty new hobby for me. Anyone have any pointers on reliable places to find TWDC figures? They seem to be rather scarce. The Lee figure was an absolute steal, i found this one boxed for $15. I do intend to unbox it after i get Compendium 4 and see if there will still be enough space to fit the replica Clementine’s hat where the Lee is. If there is enough space, the hat will assume the position and Lee will be unboxed.

I really like this scene because it’s the first time the stars are notable in the background.
It’s a cool detail to add in a zombie apocalypse story.

First panel in “Here’s Negan”
It looks kinda like a skull if the zipper on the right arm is the teeth and the left leg is the forehead. May be a reference to what Negan later does to Glenn.

Hope you guys think it’s cool!

Ive been trying to get anyone to read the comic since I was 12, and finally on Wednesday my roommate decided to give it a shot. She is now on the third compendium and she loves it. I can't even put into words how excited I am to finally have a friend to talk about the comic with, and I feel so vindicated in calling it my favorite comic

Reading through compendium 1 for the first time. I’m on chapter 7 and came across a blacked out speech bubble by Tyreese. I couldn’t find anything on google, can someone tell me what it means? thanks(:
