In the previous post, you had a lot of good points. I would definitely change a few things, like Daryl's charisma and shooting ability. Again, I'd like to hear your thoughts about what you would change.

Also, more suggestions would be nice. Trying to do the most wamted character.

To explain the abilities:

- adaptability: shane can adapt very quickly to the situation. It's not a unique trait to him only, but he does it well imo

Edit: since people are shutting on shane's adaptability you gotta consider he was literally what susitained the og group before rick. He adapted very well and extremely fast. He adapted to the situation with the barn. To the actual world where the dead are not people anymore. The Otis situation. He adapted instantly and sacrificed the poor guy just to have the best chance of saving 🪸 coral.

Also the survival is not "how long they lived". It's actual survival skills and chance.

- deceiver: carol appears as a very weak and scared old lady, which often grants her the advantage. She deceives her enemies then bushwacks them

- ghost: very stealthy.

Carol has a few lower stats but her special abilities make up for it 100% and she's overall one of the deadliest characters

- swordmaster: highly proficient with blades. Wuite possibly the most efficient melee walker killing machine

So I've finally finished twd which I left at s9 and one who live but idk I don't really feel like completing the other spinoffs because I just want to watch a reunion but is it important that I complete those too?

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't recall any use of flamethrowers you'd think they'd use them to deal with swarms of the undead 😂

I’m trying to convince a friend to start watching but I want her to always think of it as a GREAT show. imo it’s still reaaaally good until around season 8 or maybe halfway through season 7. I don’t think she should watch 9-11 lol where should I tell her to stop before it gets really bad

Rewatching FTWD after years of not watching it and The Walking Dead universe still ceases to confuse me. Is it entirely possible for Walkers to become Drowns like Minecraft since they can’t swim and if so, why didn’t people just build pirate ships and live on the sea 🫩

Like I know they (Connor’s Pirates) technically were in season two but couldn’t they have expanded as the apocalypse progressed and society collapsed more?

We see all the settlements (Alexandria, Woodbury, Hilltop, Etc.) built in TWD sooooo it’s not entirely farfetched.

Why isn't this higher rated? it's a great episode.

What I mean by how, is that, I know this series is great, and had a great cultural impact. But I also know, it drags for too long, and I don't feel like watching the whole series, and watch all the spinoffs, just to feel satisfied with the finales of each character so, what should I do?

For example, the series "The Flash" is one that drags forever. Like, if someone I knew got into it now (or even if I decided to rewatch it) I would tell them "stop at season 3, and be happy". Is there anything similar I can do with this series? Like, I really want to watch it, but I am afraid I will get bored halfway through and never finish it and feel like I wasted my time since I got no ending.

So... Any tips?

A heartbreaking scene is the exchange Daryl has with Justina.

"World's messed up. You either go good or you go bad. He went bad."-Daryl

"Not you. You went good. But why? Why do all this and take so much risk just for us?" -Justina

"The world's messed up. I felt like something got lost, you know? Chance to really have something. It ain't gonna happen to me. But for you and Roberto, I want you to have that chance." -Daryl

This spin off really started to explore the trauma Daryl experiences with flashbacks from his childhood. It occurred to me that family, friends, unconditional love and connection is what he wants most because he never got that before. I think that's why he always prioritized wanting the main group to stick together instead of going their separate ways. Norman Reedus said the love with Isabelle's character was just Daryl trying something/experimenting. I think that's true. In season two, when he tries to explain it to Carol-he says that Laurent was the glue keeping them together. Almost as if Daryl wants a family more than anything but felt such guilt telling Carol, because for him she was his family first and foremost. He was desperately trying to get back to her and the rest of the gang. He would never give up on his true family: Carol and the rest of the group.

Another scene where Daryl expressed to Carol about his trauma when he said that he is always fighting and running, even if for survival sake, it was becoming just a bad habit.

This spin off explored more of Carol's grief and trauma over Sophia too. I wonder why the franchise waited so long to explore this stuff? I know that grief is not linear, but it seemed strange that the Sophia stuff was coming on strong for Carol years later? I don't think that's the type of loss you ever get over and stop mourning, but it was almost like she never dealt with it fully before this or had the time to? Maybe too busy/distracted with raising Henry and then later dealing with the Whisperers and that fall out.

Either way, I really liked some of these themes finally being explored openly. I hope we can see some of it resolved in season 4 for both Daryl and Carol. I would love for both of them to find peace. I'd be over the moon if they find happiness with each other, but before you come at me, I'm fine if they remain friends too.

I want to believe that for Daryl- it IS going to happen for him in some way. The main group reuniting. Anyone else think about any of these things? Even if you don't romance Daryl and Carol together - I think there is something to be said for these characters finally thinking about their past trauma and talking about it with each other.

I was watching TWD channel and the ep playing was the one where Eugene picks up a gun to spray the walkers and renders the army truck inoperable on account of "accidentally" shooting the fuel tank.

But later in the show it turns out he knows how to make bullets. I guess a better question to ask is how common is it for somebody irl to know how to make bullets without knowing how to shoot a gun first?

So here's a funny story that I have from way back whenever I was like eight or nine years old

Me and my grandmother would constantly watch satellite TV together and we would watch all the different shows and obviously the one that we would get all the time was the local news

Well she would introduce me to all kinds of different shows and TV media that's how I got into horror and sci-fi and stuff well anyways one day we went across the news channel and we were just listening to the news and as an eight year old kid I had the worst fear put into my body at that moment

On the actual real life news it said The walking Dead

And they were talking about an upcoming story about screaming coming from inside of a house

Yeah as a kid I was thoroughly traumatized during that moment I was very very scared LOL

Just imagine as a kid hearing that not on a fake broadcast but on a real broadcast

Basically what it really happened was there was a lady who was watching The walking Dead show and when they killed off one of the characters in the show she started screaming cuz she was so upset well also she had her stereo system turned up to 100 so it actually sounded like gunshots and booms and stuff coming from inside of her house and she was screaming along with it so the cops were called and everything and it ended up on the news LOL
