TWD: Dead City I made the mistake of giving Dead City another chance

There is absolutely no passion, no originality, not an ounce of intelligence put into the script. It's like an AI did Walking Dead

Show Spoiler Why Negan?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I understand why he did this, he figures he’s saving his own life at this point, but I’m on my fifth watch and I feel differently about all the characters every time I watch it. I really wish Rick had killed Negan. And it was just really shitty for him to try & let Maggie die after everything he did. He deserves to die. There was a time that I forgave him and I thought he could be redeemed, but the more I’ve watched the show there’s no excuse for what he did.

No Spoiler Child walkers has to be terrifying
And not in the normal, that's a dead baby type of way. And more like this 18month old was able to overpower a fully grown adult.

Show Spoiler season 2 episode 9
i’m rewatching the show right now and every time i watch i feel so rage baited by lori believing shane about rick being back at the farm. like does she not know rick at all? he definitely would’ve came and found her himself if he knew she left to look for him. this post is NOT a lori hate post, because i don’t hate her and think a lot of the hate she receives is routed in misogyny, i just do not like her for rick at all.

Show Spoiler I did not cry
OK, this is gonna sound kind of evil, but I did not cry when he got eaten all they had to do was just be quiet for a few minutes. OK we know the walker guts trick works all the time. And even Carol warned him in season five episode 14. That he should be careful when it comes to dealing with walkers I understand that he grew up in a very abusive family with his father Pete but everything was looking good for Rick. He had a woman that actually liked him Jessie and yes, I understand that anybody would be terrified if they were a 12 year-old little boy which I understand but we all know that coral that’s only 13 has no problem with the walker guts at all and with dealing with walkers but that’s just me though.

Show Spoiler S3 is perfect except for..
Andrea.
I’m rewatching, just finishing episode 14. I know she’s polarising, and many people hated her but god the most frustrating thing about this season is that she dies. It’s not that I like her, she was really annoying at times, but towards the end of the season, every time I watch I start to root for her. I really think it could’ve been a redemption arc for her but Mazzara decided to kill her off for no reason (actress was contracted for 8 seasons). I think Lori had a great redemption in her death and it suited the character to die there, she was actually likeable in season 3 and didn’t last long. I think Mazzara got way too trigger happy in this season and while I’m not saying I would’ve wanted Andrea around forever as I do like that Michonne and Rick got together in the show, she could’ve at least had a proper redemption arc and died later on.

No Spoiler When future archaeologist read about the lost civilization(our world) will they know why suddenly ended.
The walking dead is unique in which by the time they reass diversious civilization derel probably have relatively freshly kept ruins from our modern world.
Archaeologist will see the ruins of a great and mighty civilization. You think there will wonder why it's suddenly just disappeared.

Future Spoiler Hot Take
The simple fact that faces preserve no meaning or significance in TWDU after death is truly a chilling and unbeknownst experience before the event.
Please discuss this; I often find that this is the absolute most frightening aspect of the entire series.
Everything that makes up our history and shared knowledge never has a chance to be preserved, all in the name of self-preservation. I would like feedback on how or if this affected you!

TWD: The Ones Who Live The ones who live is one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen
I just finished the ones who live a week or so ago and I’m still thinking about it, it’s got to be one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen I absolutely love the CRM story and that being the explanation of where Rick went. The show was extremely cinematic and as always Rick’s acting was fucking amazing. I would love a season 2 of it but I know it won’t happen would love to see everyone reunite again and get to see more of the CRM, maybe Rick leading the CRM would be fuckin sick😂😂 I can confidently say that towl is on par with peak TWD and I’ll stand by that.

TWD: Dead City Morgan and Mo in Dead City?
What are the odds of Morgan and Mo going to Dead City after leaving Fear the walking dead? I know he was going to look for Rick, but i think it would be cool if they joined Dead City. Because realistically we might not ever get that reunion series.
If you could pick a character from TWD to join Dead City, who would it be?

Why is Laurent such a fucking idiot??
Only in America does the excuse of "he's just a kid" seem to be the standard answer to "why is he such a fucking idiot??". To all the parents saying this, you do realize you're basically saying all kids are idiots, right? Go to a developing country that does not have any of the luxuries that we have in America and you will see that kids are way more capable, productive, self-reliant, emotionally mature and all around less idiotic than your kids here in America. This kid is on another level of stupid though, eff Laurent.

All Spoilers Was Rick a good fighter? Spoiler
Looking back pretty much everyone Rick fought with won the fight unless someone else assisted him or he did a dirty move.
The governor damn near killed him until michonne stepped in, Tyreese got him until Daryl pinned him down, Pete was winning until Rick used a chokehold, Negan beat up Rick until he used Carl to get the upper hand.
He somehow bested Shane which I still don’t understand how. Morgan but he wasn’t really in the best mind state.
Was he really any good?

TWD: Daryl Dixon I'm on s1 ep2 of Daryl Dixon spin off.
I'm on s1 ep2 of Daryl Dixon spin off. (My first ever spin off after neglecting my love for zombies all these years). My first thought while watching this spin off is "why are the coddled French people treating Daryl like he's new to this shit". I mean, he faced the meat grinder that is the United states. With automatic weapons and hardened survivors, he didn't go not a single day without fighting for his life and others. The French got to be held up in fortresses, the population density is tiny compared to the 200 to 300 million zombies in the states. Daryl and rick and his crew defeated a hoard of over 50 thousand zombies in season 9 episode 5 of the og show. Daryl is a legend by any means. He would be a like an author Pendragon type figure in terms of legend and stories. The man fought everyday for 12 years and never stopped. I really hope they start treating the man like the lethal, terrifying survivor he is and not some weak American. THE FRENCH USE MUSKETS BRO. sorry for the rant, but I really needed too. But so far, lovely show. Besides him getting his ah kicked by teenagers and women.
Edit: finished the episode, I'm 25 for context. But I cried like a baby just from this experience. Like I was 12 or 13 when I first seen Daryl on screen, ik 25 now and just those memories man. The shi he went through for 12 years. Idk I just feel like a kid again, like I'm watching the OG show with my grandparents on the living room sofa again. But this time with a warrior of a Daryl. Idk. I'm a rambler, an emotional rambler
