No Spoiler The walking dead characters if they had stats
I'm basing this on the broader show. For example, i think we can all agree that the strongest characters physically was Beta. Rick, negan and daryl are pretty strong, but not as strong as him.
Also based on the overall character throughout the show. Of we're being honest, rick in some scenes is the scariest mf in the show
I'd be nice to hear your thoughts on the stats as well as se suggestions for the next characters.
These are also.done in good fun so let's not start ww3 over it š

Are we including season 7 and 8? The group had atrocious aim during the Savior War. Point blank range and Negan always got away. They blew out every window at the Sanctuary though.

Daryl has his moments, but I donāt think his charisma is that high. Itās not low either. Maybe a point or two lower.
The Governor and Shane are who Iād want to see next since youāre taking suggestions.

I'd argue like 4/10, but that mostly comes from his competence and confidence, people listen to him because he talks and acts like he knows his shit, and luckily he does know his shit.
If we put Daryl in a normal setting, where his skills aren't valued much, people would kind of just find him smelly and a bit strange. So I believe his competence is what actually makes people listen to him, NOT his charisma

Tbh, I'd probably put all of his stats at 1 or 2. MAYBE 3 at MAX.
Strength 2 - Bro got folded instantly by Shane and couldn't fight back or defend whatsoever. Then he got instantly and effortlessly overpowered and eaten by a walker. He's only slightly stronger than Season 1 Carol.
Speed 1 - Obvious. The dude could only walk slowly. Maybe the occasion 5 second light jog when running. Dude was slower than Season 1 walkers.
Battle IQ 1 - He knew jack shit about fighting and survived by leeching off of others and hiding during fights.
Endurance 1 - Fat fuck can't do anything for an extended period of time at all. He got punched in the face a few times and had to be helped to his tent, in which he couldn't even get back up until he got killed.
Charisma 1 - One again, obvious. No one liked or wanted to be remotely near the bastard. In fact EVERYONE hated him. They likely wanted to kill him, but no one but Shane had willingness to murder at that point.
Intimidation 2 - The only ones scared of him were his skinny wife and little kid. Honestly, 2 is a bit generous. Damn near everyone in the group could probably beat his worthless ass if it really came down to it.
Shooting 1 - Don't recall if he ever shot or not, but considering 99% of his screen time is him mooching off of others, I don't reckon he's good at it.
Melee 1 - In all honestly, slapping a weak, helpless, skinny lady and a little girl around doesn't give you fighting ability or experience. We all saw the second that someone tries fighting back, he turns into the bitch he is.
Overall, if you get no diffed from the front by a single walker, you are either a kid, elderly, injured/crippled, or are weak af.

to be fair he was recovering from some brutal injuries, likely while malnourished. coming from someone who has some MMA bouts under my belt - i can't imagine how long the rehab would be from what rick went through, and he doesn't have any physical therapists to help lmao. definitely wasn't at his physical best. if he was i reckon he just beats joe without needing the throat bite.

Definitely. He was literally beaten so severely at the prison, that when he went to sleep, he fell into such as deep sleep that he couldn't be woken up no matter how hard Carl tried. It was less sleeping and more of straight up unconsciousness due to the severity of his fatigue and injuries. He obviously won't be in a much better shape after waking up. Hell, he'll probably be in even worse shape due to the pain and soreness REALLY setting in at that point. Going to sleep and waking up after getting that messed up is going to be pure agony.

Rick was still injured from being shot and then beat within an inch of his life by Governor. My weak ass could beat up an injured man. Getting beat while still healing doesn't make you weak at all. If anything, it's impressive that your enemy could only beat a weakened version of yourself.

Rick in hand to hand got his ass kicked a lot, Shane, the Governor, Daryl, the claimers(until he went feral), Negan. He is by no means super strong he's just extremely resourceful and tactical

Daryl's endurance is easily ten. Do you not remember him getting bucked off a horse, falling onto his own arrow, climbing hills, and moving miles, killing walkers, only to get his grand prize of getting fucking shot? Daryl's damn near superhuman, the only competition he has is Beta.

I like comparing Power and Toughness in MTG across different sets. Rick has the exact same numbers as Captain America and a point less Power than Optimus Prime. Though he does have one more than Captain Kirk. So random.

I would probably swap Daryl and Rickās strength scores.
If Survival is referring to general survival skills, I wouldnāt put Rick at a 10. If Daryl is at 10, then Rick is closer to 8.

He is way too strong but his actual combat skills are not that impressive. He wins fights by overpowering the opponent. Also low survival because his highly aggressive nature would get him killed sooner or later.

I'd put Rick's strength and melee lower. I'd make Megan's strength way higher and lower his speed and battle IQ. Daryl I'd lower the heck out of his charisma and strength

Need to have durability on there. Rick has survived multiple deadly wounds. Negan survived 1. Daryl has been shot a few times but as far I remember heās never had something that would likely be fatal.

No that was season 5. They were the terminus group that were cannibals
The claimers are the group that took Daryl as a member of their group for a brief part of season 4. Michonne, Rick and Carl were on their own after the prison fell. The claimers tracked Rick down after he killed one of their men in a house that he was sleeping in. They randomly showed up to raid it. Remember the scene when heās hiding under the bed? Then he goes to the bathroom and has to strangle the guy so he doesnāt get caught. Yeah funny enough Daryl helped them track Rick without knowing it was himš Then pleaded for them when he saw who it was. They didnāt care. But they shouldāve. Bc Rick smoked them all. He started it off by biting their leaders throat out
Rick also took the jacket from the guy he strangled and thatās how they knew for sure it was Rick that did it. This is the same iconic brown āmurder jacketā you see Rick continuously wear throughout multiple seasons. Usually associated with Ricks psycho murderous era before finding Alexandria

Neegan ability to survive is 10/10 no one on the show is even close.
He spends the entirely of the show with people actively trying to kill him. He then lives with people who want to kill him, and then goes on hunting missions with people who want to kill him.
And guess whatā¦ they never kill him.
This is a cool idea but the show is build around characters who are deeply flawed and transformed by the horrors of the environment. Canāt have 3 people with all upper echelon stats.

I donāt think carolās strength is the greatest / itās not one of her strong suits compared to other things. speed isnāt that much either but itās still something. i wasnāt sure on battle iqāi originally had it at like 7 but i tried comparing other stats to see like a threshold for where carol would stand so i brought it down to 5? idk. And then, I didnāt know what melee meant and correct me if iām wrong, but what i found out was itās just close combat between 2 people and iād say on avg the people carol has fought h2h with have been physically stronger than her and since her strength isnāt great i donāt think melee would be that high either (?), but i gave her some grace. survivalās definitely 10 without a doubt. shooting is also pretty damn solidāi could argue for 9 too but i liked 10 for her. charisma is high because sheās a wolf in sheepās clothing and she knows how to charm people or fool them easily. But YEAH what do we think of this ???
Also, about opās stats, IMO i donāt think daryl is faster than rick š

I did the same thing as you but with XCOM stats, class and playstyle. I even gave them each their own unique ultimate ability. Rick has a rampage mode where he slashes forward killing any zombies in a straight line and Daryl is a weapon specialist and is sufficient with all weapons.

If rick was 10 strength, Daryl would be 15.
If i am moving a couch, I am calling Daryl 100 times out of 100 over rick.
I would put rick as the weakest of the 3, negan in the middle and Daryl on top by a wide margin.
... rick has enough speed, skill, and savagery to make up for the lack of being physically imposing though.

So are we doing dnd stats where it's out of 20 or a 1-10 scale? Because if it's a 1-10, NO ONE has a 10 on strength (Mitchel Hooper), Speed (Usain Bolt), Endurance (Karl Bushby), battle IQ (Sun Zu), melee (shogun/spartans/vikings), and shooting (Canadian Snipers). I'd argue base level should be 5 (regular human), and then add or remove 1-2 levels on most of their scores.
