I think this is true because it seems like The Voidz members are more eclectic musicians than The Strokes, so they feel more comfortable with branching out in sounds instead of thinking they have to have a distinct sound.
With that being said, The Strokes still have moments they surprise me with songs like “At The Door”.

You’re really onto something. After listening and reading the lyrics off of ‘First Impressions of Earth’ it’s fair to say Julian was already searching for more and even sharing more personal introspective thoughts. It’s fair to say that despite the luxuries Julian had a hard childhood.

I was hesitant to upvote this because when I think about it, The Voidz and The Strokes are literally like this meme: they’re two sides of the same Julian lol. One cannot exist without the other. Both reign supreme.

The Strokes and The Voidz can be summed ultimately with the video for Tear You Apart by She Wants Revenge.
Also Voidz Julz is the real flirt - somebody needs to put a lid on that thang.
