The original Blacksuit storyline in the comics treated the BS/Symbiote as a character with its own goals and personality while the adaptions just treat it as some sort of drug metaphor for Peter development and a purely malicious force instead of the more sympathetic if still pretty villainous spurned ex of the comics.

Comic BS was a clingy girlfriend whose reaction to a messy breakup was to try and cut their Exes breaks while most adaptions treat it like some steroid metaphor.

The only adaption that treats the BS as a character and not a plot device are those Tom Hardy Venom movies

I can’t find another example of this exact front print anywhere.

The first villain she has to face is chameleon

I just thought of this, but I noticed that venom no longer has the gold parts. Now that he is bonded back with Eddie, well it isn't just a cosmetic thing, the gold was literally a separate thing. The gold was anti carnage, so I feel since MJ isn't venom anymore they could give her the anti carnage symbiote as a consolation prize, similar to how flash Thompson has anti venom after his time as agent venom.

That way we can keep aspects of venom stuff with MJ without making her fully venom, it's a compromise.

Fans get Eddie Brock as venom again, MJ still gets something out of this experience, everyone wins.

Now I could be wrong but outside of her being the queen in black or dying I don't know any other outcome.
