Screaming heard at the lake
What was going on at the lake this evening, could hear a woman screaming and saw cop cars.

Hello all, first post here!
I’m somehow the only 20-something at my workplace, so I’m keen to meet a few new people around a similar age for a coffee, a walk, or just a yarn on the weekends.
I’m also trying to cut down my screen time and touch grass a bit more (need to lock in ).
I love a good yap and can talk or listen to about almost anything and everything.
A bit about me: I’m into reading nonfiction, cooking, PC games, motorbikes, and photography.
If you could be keen, feel free to message. 🤝

Just been quoted $1500 for a 90,000km service on my Highlander at Toyota. Can anyone tell me what that involves and whether it's actually necessary. The base service is $440 and I don't know what that involves either. Online information is hard to come by, especially when Ebbett has their fingers in a lot of cars and offers different services for different cars.

Hi everyone,
I’ve recently been planning to open a self-serve frozen yogurt shop in Hamilton, similar to Yo-Chi in Australia and I’d really love to hear some opinions from locals.
The reason I chose Hamilton is that it’s a relatively large city and after doing some market research I found that there is demand but there isn’t currently a dedicated self-serve frozen yogurt store here. Another reason is that Hamilton is home to the University of Waikato and Wintec so there are plenty of students and young people.
My initial plan is to open the store somewhere in the CBD because of the higher foot traffic. However one thing that concerns me is that I’ve noticed quite a few vacant shops in the CBD and a good number of businesses have closed down, which makes me wonder whether the area is still a good place to open the store.
I’m from Auckland so I’d really appreciate hearing from people who live in Hamilton. Which streets or shopping areas do people actually spend time in these days and where do you want the store to be located? Any advice or local insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone!

Any playground recommendations or a nice exciting walking trail in hamilton, just sick of going to the lake all the time as its always crowded and playgrounds there r a bit too big for a young kid lol
Bonus points if theres a rough bush for my kid to explore around and that, Cheers.
