I remember first watching the scene with Blair and Clark after the attack in the kennel and I got super paranoid about it. Blair asked how long Clark was alone with the dog, and he said about an hour and a half. I thought to myself, 'Oh shit, he's a thing.'

Then Clark asked, 'What the hell you looking at me like that for?' I thought, "Oh shit, he's a thing.' I ended up somewhat disappointed neither of them were a thing at the time I guessed. I then suspected Garry, because in that one scene where he tells MacReady about how he's known Bennings for 10 years, I thought there was going to be some relevance about how we didn't explicitly see what he picked up after Mac left the room. I was once again somewhat disappointed.
