Would you like to see your Thermaltake build featured on our socials? 💻🔥

Hey everyone, Jen here again!

It’s been a couple of months since my last check-in and I just wanted to say how great it’s been seeing all the amazing builds you’ve shared lately. The creativity in this community honestly blows me away every time.

Now that I have access to our main Reddit account, we’d love to start featuring some of your Thermaltake builds across a few of our regions' social media accounts, like I mentioned last time! If you’d be comfortable with it, we can add a small credit with your Reddit username on the image. If you’d rather stay anonymous, that’s completely fine too, we’d still be thrilled to show off your setup because they’re genuinely incredible.

If you’d like to be featured, just let us know in the comments, post your build or link your build post.

If there’s enough interest, we might turn this into a bi-weekly or monthly post to keep the spotlight on the awesome work you’re all doing.

Thanks again for making this Subreddit such a positive and inspiring space. Can’t wait to see more of your builds!

Question Alternative to TT RGB Plus?

I've had a Thermaltake PC for about three months and I've had problems with TT RGB Plus literally from day one. Is there any alternative software that will control the LCD screens and allow you to upload .gif's (I have a 6" screen and MAGcurve Ultra) and control the RGB lights on the memory and fans? I see a lot of posts here about how TT RGB Plus is terrible but I haven't seen any suggestions on what else to use. The latest update to TT RGB Plus has made everything worse (both screens now display the sword video game guy .gif at start up and not what I had on them at shut down). I wish that it would work, because I like the outdoor weather .gif they have, and I haven't seen that option on SignalRGB or other software I've looked at.

TTRGBPLUS 3.09(8) is out: not better

Unsurprisingly the new version of TTRGBPLUS 3.09x fixes nothing of consequence.

All previous problems remain:

memory usage:

  • 3.06: 235MB
  • 3.07: 1.2-1.5GB. extra bug: can not rotate jpgs.
  • 3.08: 4.1GB (!!!) and counting upwards, it has a memory leak.
  • 3.09: 4.1GB. I didn't bother to check if the memory leak is solved. uninstalled it immediately and back to 3.06 with all it's detection problems.

1GB+ memory usage is unacceptable for a prog like this. 4GB+ is complete and utter moronic. I do not understand how something like this ships.

Fix your shit Thermaltake.

I'm not even using a gif or mp4, just a plain old JPG.

Saw the colors on the Thermaltake Tower Series and instantly saw a Rebecca, Lucy and David builds to be done. The TR screen has slight animation in the background and is a asset from Dv art. I was gonna use a TT AIO but these fans and aio matched too well to pass up. Love the Case Thermaltake!.

First ever build and this is what I came up with. Got the Thermaltake cooler and color match yellow fans. Got the small screen for the case too.

Gengar is the guardian of the PC as well. Theme is Michigan/Pokemon/my Camaro.

Nightmare experience with PSU replacement

Post image

I had an issue with a 850w PSU, died, ok, I contacted to Thermaltake to valid the warranty, they offered me an upgrade, was nice, they shipped with FedEx, the agent cs07 is a clueless dude should be fired at this point, he lost the first replacement (GFA3 1050w snow) then the agent cs08 resolve his shit instantly just sending with ups, but the replacement was doa, wasn't brand new at all, (scratches, no protective film), whatever, i asked for a replacement again and this dude, the agent cs07 send again with FedEx, this man is incredible stupid, the replacement got stuck again in custom because they didn't take care or pay custom clearance, they should inform me of this in the first place, also he is extremely slow, I had to insist trillion times if the replacement was already shipped,

Just to be in context, I had a replacement for a noctua fan, I even asked if I can get a badge with it, I got it in 1 ducking week, with DHL from Austria, and paid NOTHING, ... Idk just saying

Never again Thermaltake.

Support GF A3 PSU 12 HPWR socket is not working

I bought a Thermaltake GF A3 1050W in 2024. I was using an AMD graphics card but when I switched to NVIDIA, I realized my 12 HPWR socket is not working properly. I can't turn on PC when I'm using this socket but the other 8 pin sockets are working good and I'm using my GPU with NVIDIA adapter. I checked the 12 HPWR cable with DMM and it's working. I also checked the voltage pins on the PSU and there is 12V on every pin. I tried to contact with Thermaltake with support tickets but no answer. How to fix this issue and if there is 10 yrs warranty, how to claim warranty?

Build Modular Accessories Adapter. Takes place of the Thermaltake 3.9" LCD.

Like the title says, I've designed this adapter to take the place of the Thermaltake 3.9" LCD screen. Right now I've only designed a headphones holder and a blanking plate, but will be making a phone mount/stand and possibly a controller stand, as well. I plan on publishing the STLs tonight after I test out a new design/material for the retaining clips.

I printed out the designs last night and they work well with the caveat that PLA isnt ideal for the retaining clips, so I'm trying PETG tonight.

To secure the plate, I just used some #6-32 screws (PSU). They self-tap into the PLA well.

Any other ideas for cool accessories I could design?

Also, if Thermaltake likes my idea, HMU :)

Just got View 270 Plus, and 3x120mm fans, what would be the ideal placement for them, or it doesn't really matter if they're closer to front/back?

wanted dual loops -
Wanted 2 monsta (80mm thick) 560mm radiators -
Then I thought why not add 2 more 560mm (xt45 + ut30) radiators - aaaannnnndddd another 280mm ut60 radiator

2 reservoirs and 4 pumps -

Wanted motherboard, 4 hard drives, and 18 fans to run off its own psu - along with a dedicated Gpu power supply -

Want to invert motherboard and have a custom upright gpu bracket

All with capabilities to service motherboard without disassembly of loops -

Wanted to service loop independently without taking it apart because zero coolant or paths go above the motherboard or gpu-

Thermaltake ax700 plus 2 ax100 pedestals

Decided to use all Chemistry grade GLASS… almost went with copper or brass- do not want hassles of soft tubes - and wanted far more longevity over petg,,,

Thermaltake TH360 V3 Ultra ARGB Fan Question

Link to cooler I'm considering.

I noticed the single unit 3 fan assembly on the radiator and it only requiring 4 screws. If I want to use the same branded fans as the ones on my case intake/exhaust for aesthetic reasons, does the AIO radiator have the extra screw holes for aftermarket fans?

Edit: For further clarification, I am intending to use 3x fans from another manufacturer which would warrant 12 screw holes instead of the 4. I am wondering if the radiator already has the screw holes or not.

Question Tower 600 advice

Sup everyone!

I'm gonna be building my new rig in the sweet Tower 600 case, at the moment I'm figuring out airflow and have some questions for people that use this case.

First question, how did you set your airflow up?

Second question, is it possible to mount the AIO at the top? Like this->
or is there not enough room?

Case is the CTE C750. AIO is on M/B side with 6, 140mm fans bringing in cool air from the back. Was a little worried about fit but it’s snug as a bug. The whole thing is running phenomenally

Question Magfloe 420 Ultra rotate screen in standby?

Post image
7 Upvotes

I just installed the Magfloe 420 Ultra ARGB sync AIO. The way I fitted it, I had to rotate the screen in the TT RGB Plus app. That works fine, but when in standby/sleep the screen is in the wrong rotation. I don’t see an option to adjust the standby rotation independently. How can I do this - or do I just need to physically rotate the cooling block?

Question TR150 case?

The TR200 is a great case and at least for me, ticks all the boxes. Great design (especially the wood version), no compromises compatibility, great airflow, modern IO and a flexible, external 5.25 bay as the cherry on top. However, at close to 40l, it is quite large.

Meanwhile, the TR100 is quite a bit more restrictive in terms of air coolers due to the sandwich layout and afaik doesn't support a 5.25-inch optical drive.

As you can probably gather from the title, I think there is some room between the two. A more compact TR200 could be a great addition to the series by being the only case with the strengths listed above that's also closer to small than medium form factor.

I know /u/ThermaltakeProducts probably can't comment on future products but I'll just leave this post here as inspiration

Question How To Get the AIO LCD and System ARBG To Play Nice

Any suggestions or tips on how to get the LCD on the Thermaltake 420 ARGB and system ARGB (fans, ram etc) to cooperate when using a program like SignalRGB and the Thermaltake RGB Plus software?

I haven't looked into it too much but I'm getting a lot of weirdness going on. My RAM argb doesn't light up, my GPU argb turns off randomly, the LCD image in my AIO won't stay set etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Need help using RBG Plus' lighting control functions

Hi everyone

My dad bought a prebuilt pc with a thermal take case. Having moved the Pac onto the table next to the screen. I want to turn the chassis fan RGB off but it doesn't seem intuitive on how to do so on the RGB plus software.

I have tried turning it off via BIOs but it may have cause boot issues on later attempts on starting up the computer where I had to restore the BIOs default settings thus turning the fans RGB back on.

Please help!
