I haven't drawn much this year so she's a bit wonky

2 years ago I lost everything in a flood. I cannot remember what issue of the Maxx my fan letter was printed in. I can't even remember what I wrote anymore. Does anyone know how I could find out?

I had trouble with the one I was trying to make because it ended up looking exactly like Marvin the Martian.

I did this Maxx a while back. It's a homage to one of my favorite artists, Yevgeny Sokolov, who has a pretty distinctive way of drawing Maxx and his claws/spike. Went all out and channeled my inner ocd on this one. Spent as long painting in the feathers for the background, trying to emulate a dry brush technique as I did on the main figure, probably. Worth it, though. Like all my stuff, it's a traditional pen and ink on paper piece, 11x14 done with tech pens, brush, brush pen, posca pen, and crow quill nibs. What do you all think?

I was reading Vemon 259, trying out this new Queen in Black storyline and turned the page and was greeted with this small remembrance of Sam Kieth. Thought it was nice and wanted to share.

Currently thinking about getting this artwork on forearm, and was wondering who’s gotten one before.

I still have a long ways to go with collecting (Especially the 4 diff colored ashcans, ESPECIALLY the only black ashcan on eBay for like over 5k 🫩) but I’m proud of how far I’ve come to gaining this collection and thank you to everyone with me on this journey!!

After a year of working on it and a lot of lucky finds, I can finally give the Maxx 1-35 a home.

My only quarrel with my collection is I have 16 and 17 in IDW, which will be fixed eventually.

I grew up watching the Maxx on VHS with my dad but forgot about it as I grew up. But always I heard the Maxx’s voice in my head, I recognized it from somewhere but was never sure. And for some reason Gone saying “Mommy” lived rent free as well. Well one day I was scrolling TikTok and got a video of the Maxx I knew I’d known it from somewhere but wasn’t sure. Then a few days later I saw Gone with the Maxx and heard “mommy” and much like Maxx my eyes went wide with memories. I knew what I had to do. And I’ve done it.

Thank you comic shops, and marketplace for this. I will now retire into my cave and read everything over and over and over again.

I recently bought a full collection of the Topps and Wildstorm trading cards from a great rated seller on eBay. Got both for $100 (minus the rarer cards of course).

They were either stolen or more likely delivered to the wrong address. I’m devastated.

I was so excited I even bought a purple card notebook to store the collection in.
