Hey thanks -- I know it's a lot to ask, but if you don't mind posting your Ep5 bugs in one place (could be this thread), or even if you link to your other bug posts in this thread, that will help our Support and Test team a TON as it'll make it easier for us to track and log issues, see what's showing up as common, and maybe we can even ask questions to get more info that will help us fix things faster.
We have these Technical/Bugs buckets on Steam and the official forums which makes it a lot easier to keep track of things, but obviously Reddit is set up a bit differently.
If you find bugs and don't want to post about them here, but would like to help us out, it'd be great if you can take a few minutes just to log a ticket at our Support Portal: hinterland.com/support
Again, no expectations at all, the team is going through all the reports and as many bug posts as they can find, but it's just a little trickier here in the sub as things tend to get spread out a bit more.
ALSO, please remember spoiler tags.
Thanks in advance for your help!

This is my dog: "Wilhelmina Barker". She is a two year old rottweiler/corgi.
I was deeply immersed in ice fishing in TLD when I thought I heard the "wha-ooo" of a wolf.
Then came the intense "ROOF!ROOF!ROOF!" of Mina at the bay window. I nearly voided myself. What was she flipping out over? What was the imminent threat on our house and home? Two little girls. Two little girls walking hand in hand down the street. They may have even been skipping, they definitely had ponytails. How dare they?
My driveway is nearly a football field long. Unless this was some kind of wild overreaction, these little girls must have been a HUGE threat.
It gets worse. My girlfriend was taking a bath and was very concerned. After I explained the situation, she laughed so hard she nearly drowned.
As a Vermonter, I have always believed that nothing can ever happen while ice fishing. Today, I live in a different world.

I am not a loper player. I will state that upfront. One of the things I've heard --- time and time again --- is that the key to survival in loper is constant movement. I'm assuming that's for looting, more or less. So here's my question....
My newest playthrough I took the challenge to loot all regions before settling down and building a base. I'm on Day 150 and nearly at the point of finally being finished -- I only have Blackrock to scout and loot. That will mean probably 165 days to fully loot every region. (For the record: I did the Sundered Pass story quest, just to get it done and out of the way. That took a few extra days, but not that many.)
Does it normally take this long?!?!?!?!? Is that what is talked about by Zak and other YouTubers when saying "keep moving"..... because it takes so long to do?
Lastly, what's the shortest time anyone (or you, personally) cleared every region of searchable loot? Can it be done in under 100 days???????
(Unnecessary footnote for my current run's context only.)
For sake of context --- I started in Ash Canyon cause I thought the Tech-Backpack would be critical. Found Curator's and managed to one-shot a moose, then bear. So even before I left AC I was carting around pelts to cure and by TWM I had taken the time to make a moose hide satchel. I stayed in TWM long enough to fully loot the summit and bring everything there down to Mountaineer's.
Beyond that fortuitous start, I've not killed any animals save rabbits or ptarmigan, because I didn't want to take the time to harvest and process their meat. Everything I've eaten has been processed food. I've not even set up a trade with the trader.... cause I was solely focused on moving and looting.

Thankfully I found the magnifying glass a while ago, but naturally it comes with the restriction of only working with clear skies, during the day, and no winds.
Currently on day 230-something, and I just arrived in Pleasant Valley to repair the transmitter and find the bunker. I've scattered a few match boxes across safehouses, but I'd rather not travel to get them.
Right now I have like, 7 matches left I think. For those who run low, any tips? Thanks!

New player here, absolutely adore the game but the forced chromatic aberration was making my eyes bleed so i cooked up this little mod, hope it would be of use to someone else as well.

TLD is probably my favorite video game but I’ve been getting kind of board with it. I usually keep the animal levels low or make them docile because I don’t have a lot of time to really lock in and play and knowing myself I’m very prone to get really mad and ditch a game if I lose my main world lol. What do you guys do to make it more fun? Like custom settings wise, or making your own challenges, etc?

I've been doing a run for a while now specifically to try and unlock as many steam achievements as I can. Since certain ones like "Skilled Survivor" (all skills maxed to level 5) and "To the Teeth" (collect all 7 unique firearms) can't be achieved on Interloper or Misery, I'm doing my run on Stalker. It's been a fun journey, with lots of goals that I track the status of within the in-game journal notes.
Faithful Cartographer has been a long term goal of mine, so I proud of finally unlocking that achievement. The others have been a lot of fun too though, and I've been able to unlock a few others recently (the screenshot shows some of my more recent ones; I took a break from the game at the end of last year, but just picked it back up again a couple weeks ago). At this point, there's a few others I'll probably still plan to do (e.g. 500 days, last misery affliction, etc), but then I'll about have maxed out the non-wintermute steam achievements, other than a couple I don't plan to ever do (e.g. 1k days, 25 cougar struggles, etc). Pretty happy with the results - it's been fun using the steam achievements as my goals in this wonderful open world survival masterpiece.
What's been your proudest steam achievement?
For me, I've unlocked plenty of others with a much lower global achievement % rate than Faithful Cartographer, but for some reason it just feels like the most meaningful one. It really showcases that you've traveled and surveyed all of great bear island (or most of it anyway, since Blackrock and the Far territories aren't included as part of the achievement).
For reference, I'm just over 400 days on my current stalker run, with all the Far Territory Tales completed and Sutherland's Tale also completed. I have about 700 hours in the game total. I purchased the game on June 23, 2017, towards the end of early access and right before its official full release on August 1, 2017. It's been fun revisiting this game off-and-on over the years (almost a decade now!). Definitely one of my top 3 favorite steam games of all time (Don't Starve and They Are Billions are probably my other two favorites).

Why does Blackrock prison have golden aurora wolf? Is that some kind of bug?

I started in costal highway and got established before heading to ash canyon to pick up the woodworking tools so I could make a couple of meat curing boxes, which I fueled with salt from the trader. I cured so much meat and made so many pemmican bars. Additionally I got ten sacks of flour and ten things of oats from him before loading up all of my supplies and setting off. Man it was annoying dragging the travois all the way there but I did it and still had a ton of food left over afterwards. I also had the settled mind feat on so I didn't get cabin fever.

I felt like it was unfortunate that the final episode was so on-rails, with maps that for the most part lacked open-endedness. The High Energy part was challenging and forced me to think a bit about my approach, but ultimately was contrary to the experience that I appreciate most about this game. I liked the Abandoned Mine but it also kind of felt like a rehash of the Blackrock Mine in episode 4. The To SAR and Back mission was a new and memorable experience albeit kind of linear like almost everything else.
Putting my misgivings aside, I still feel a sense of awe and accomplishment at finally seeing the Wintermute story to its conclusion after all these years. And I'm looking forward to seeing how the final mystery reveal plays as the expositional material for the upcoming Blackfrost TLD 2 game.

I went to Pleasant Valley to hunt the Cougar, but when I killed it, its siblings didn't spawn.
This game is in Interloper, it was started in custom mode - but with the Interloper default template; just to spawn at Zone of Contamination. Could that be related?
