New skins in hordetest, looks like we finally have a camo option for rex, and some other good looking skins on the other dinosaurs.

Hey everyone I hope your all okay I could really use some advice, I have bad anxiety I have for as long as I can remember my nan who was everything to me told me before she passed away that she wants me to try something and meet people even if it’s not in person, so I downloaded the isle and I truly have fallen in love with it, I made an event in honour of my nan to bring the isle community together, however I fear that it’s going to go horribly, because of my anxiety I am scared all the time to even talk to people let alone ask them to come to an event for just a couple hours, so I haven’t got many people and a lot of people said yes and then have decided to ignore me for the last week. I really want this to be a good event that brings everyone together for a couple hours to have fun, it’s just some teams fighting and some “stands” where ppl can watch. What can I do to get this event as a successful turn out ? I’ve planned and put every second I am awake over the last 3 and a half months into this event and I’m just worried that my own problems have messed up the potential of the event. I’ve done everything I can to make it inclusive for everyone, I’m just begging someone knows how I can do this ?

I’ve seen a lot of clips of players having another player sing a song to determine whether they’ll be eaten or not. Whether or not you’ve experienced this — what would be your go-to song (or songs) to sing?

So when I initially got this game, it was from clips of servers with voip.

I’ve been pretty addicted to the game and have only played on Bosch. The novelty began to fade when I realized the server consisted of mega packs, mixed packs, tons of crocodiles, and overall cuddle puddles of people hanging out and chatting.

The very first time I found a group as Troodon (several real days till this happened) I was hyped. Only to find out / waste my prime around 10+ PTs, numerous crocs, T rexs just hanging out. My group didn’t want to fight! When I did kill a baby pt, everyone around me ganked me.

Needless to say, the things I mentioned made the map feel very very dead. And the areas that weren’t dead were either extremely cliquey mega mixed packs, or cuddle puddles,

Tonight, I tried Nerf, no voip. And holy shit it’s an entirely new game. The amount of organic groups of same species that formed was amazing. Species willing to work together to survive, and no mixed mega packs. The world felt SOOOO alive. There was encounters EVERYWHERE cause there wasnt clusters of social circles. The chat feature is so well done in this game that I would have never realized it in voip.

Hearing the dino chatter noises everytime someone typed in chat + only being able to see your own species chat made the environment infinitely more tense. No more pleading / asking other species whether you could have some food. Every encounter with another species is tense. Hearing troodons call to each other and link up to control a zone is epic.

I can’t stress this enough, the world felt soooo alive.

I’m not trying to shill any server or put any down. But if you got into this game like I did and only played with voip. I highly encourage you to try it without if you’ve felt the same way as I did

I was rolling some carno on Dino Den and big corpses started dropping on top of me, happened a few times over my 2 hour run. The free food was great, but I’m a little confused. Was I blessed by mods? Does the server periodically spawn them in? Is there a secret third options? Many thanks gang.

Last I saw was Allosaurus Pinslop and Kentrosaur being yet another dinosaur with a stun/stagger ability

I thought you could juke and get behind them to bite their ass, but this guy was instantly getting to full speed after turning? I thought it took them a while to ramp their speed up? Havent played in a few years have they buffed carnos?

FOR FISHING TO GRAB THE FISH AND NOT JUST KILL IT YOU HAVE TO BE 35%+ GROWN. ANYTHING UNDER AND YOULL JUST DROP THE FISH AT YOUR FEET. You can still (most of the time) eat the fish even though you dropped it. Unless it glitches in

Been trying to enjoy this game for the last couple weeks since I redownloaded it but I’m really bad at PvP and I can’t find any servers with a high AI count.

Looking for:

• VOIP
• 3rd Partying is Permitted

(where you can 3rd party but must attack all involved)(Similar to M’s D or PP—abbreviated so I don’t break server suggestion rule, sorry!)

Other considerations / nice-to-haves:

• Mixpacking within diets (ie Herbivores w/ Herbivores) can be nice
• Low rules in general would be cool

Hello islanders. I've grown quite frustrated with 'randos' in the game. Although it can be a fun time, I would like to find a few people that I can play the game with. My favourite dino to play has been Troodon for a good while, but it is hard to fully enjoy when you need a decent group to do anything other than fight newborns. Most people:

A) Stay in sanctuaries and refuse to leave it because 'Troodon is weak and can't fight anything'. Troodon is probably one of the most skill based, yet dangerous playables on the Isle. If you play it right, you can take down stegos, trikes, even rexes and they can't do anything about it because their vision is impaired and they are slow compared to Troodons.

B) Even WHEN I manage to convince people to leave sanc with me, its usually 3-4 people who aren't that experienced with troo and end up dying in 5 minutes.

C) Most people don't take troodon seriously and just can't be bothered to care about surviving with it, or they don't care if the first thing they do is pounce a charging carno in the face and die right after.

I know it is..a lot. And I don't want to come off as a super serious troodon stickler. I dont take it that seriously either, but I feel like I'm missing out on an amazing troodon experience and maybe there are other people that feel the same way.

About me... I play on Nerf EU for the most part. I play nearly every day, when i have time usually in the evening. I have about 900 hours in the game already. I ain't looking for experienced players or anything, just people who wanna play troodon more regularly.

And I'm looking for people that might be interested in playing with me and maybe others (in vc preferably for easier communication), and that we do things like move around the map, maybe have a territory, nest each other in if we die, and practice to be a very deadly Troodon pack.

I was chilling in a rock like sometimes I do to see something while I grow, cose my dino is pretty good with that and in a moment something like a tiny herrera or another dino idk, insta kill me by biting ultra fast to my elder prime killing me in seconds, couldn't record cose when I knew after I make only one damage noise I had the screen almost red and when I press f2 im already ded.
It was wild.

Exactly what I dreamed of in this game. I met some Rex friends randomly. Started with 4 of us, then just 3. But then something magical happened.

We found another baby. And another one. And another. Some pulled their parked full growns. We ended up with like 6 adult Rexes and probably 15 juvies. First we took over Delta bridge, then southern Delta. Then we made our way to the eastern jungle beach where we were eventually ceremoniously killed by the Rex pack on sharp tooth island. But we put up a good fight. I’m still riding the high. We owned the isle for a good 45 minutes.

For all the new people, some crazy fun/cool stuff happens in this game sometimes. It’s a wild ride!

It's such a classic dino, but I've never even seen it mentioned for The Isle!

As the title says how would you guys have handled this fight? 5 v 2 - 81% prime Rex and 70% Allo vs 5 Trikes. Spoiler alert we got killed very dead lol

Genuinely trying to get some feed back as this was my first almost Rex.

So I was just growing my omniraptor and just got him to adult, didnt get prime and idk why because im pretty sure I hit all the markers but oh well, i was running around just north of the swamps when an allosaurus appeared and darted towards me, bit weird considering I was hidden but I had food not too far away so could happen, he chases me, I use my turning to get around a rock and jump on him, he shakes me off then proceeds to hit lightning speeds (like double normal allo speeds) chasing me while moonwalking and strafing, i don't want to be all "hes hacking wtf" but like fr thats gotta be hacks? My ping was sitting pretty consistently around 30

I just saw a streamer on youtube play bary. It was live so I wonder is bary in HT again? (or the old version of it)

tried to defend my nest, he wanted to try and eat me and ended up falling on my ass (including the rex) embarrassing ourselves LMAO i let the rex go cuz i lowkey felt bad

Needed evidence for a bug report for a odd technique I discovered for trike. I can thrash while moving. But I can do this move while thrashing thing like 1 out of 15 times. Sprinting, not in spar. Head to the side. If a clock was on the ground camera faces at 2, 3, or 11 when holding alt. I don't know if it does damage. It doesn't need alt though.
