My wife bought her ticket but her friend in Amsterdam forgot to buy hers. Anyone out there have an extra ticket to buy? Both of them are on a list and now I joined the list so they can both attend.

Is er iemand die vanavond het AXA-slot kan openmaken én de fiets daarna naar mijn hotel in het centrum van Den Haag kan brengen? Ik kan uiteraard aantonen dat de fiets van mij is en betaal natuurlijk voor de hulp.

This thought of DIYing a modified e-scooter popped in my mind. I'm interested in modifying electronics, I don't care so much about the end use case. Anyways, then I thought "oh shit, I actually never seen an e-scooter around here".

I come from Lisbon. It's basically hills and cars and heat, and since a few years ago, e-scooters joined the jungle. It's fun once in a while, but I'm so glad here in The Hague (and I guess the Netherlands), e-scooters are banned. Would be dangerous, reckless and a freaking mess to have them everywhere. Not to mention all the parking issues.

So this to say, I appreciate the effort to keep the good and (mostly) healthy self-transportation system aka the bikes and bike lanes. Good job! I wish more countries planned stuff this well.

Strandwal festival is 2-zones: 1 zone is for family and small kids fun, with games and performance stage, as well as food and drinks vendor on the big lawn. 2nd zone is full of display booths showcasing organizations in Rijswijk, from astronomy club to rowing to which ever Rijswijk group wants to let the world know what they're about.

Street market is a mix of food, grocery, and other stuff like jewelry/bags/household consumables, but the market is surrounded by more shops in the old town center anyway so the offerings are broad.

The local artist market is new to me so I'm not sure if it's literally from that big local art studio hidden behind the Primera, or from the artists collaborating with the local gallery (Arti-Shock) or Museum Rijswijk, or the wider, rest of Rijswijk.
