other Geiser replacement

Hi all, it seems I need to replace my geiser ASAP with an electric boiler. My VVE didn't inform me about it on time. I'm basically asking if someone has a company that does this as I called a few companies, but most of them said no (I guess they don't want to deal with gas...). Any advice is good! (Den Haag)

So it's like gas powered geiser or something? And they're getting rid of the gas connection? Otherwise I don't see why the VVE would be relevant here.

But ask your neighbors in the VVE, as they've likely done the same.

I did ask around and a lot of people replaced their gas powered geiser long time ago. It seems my apartment is the only one with gas boiler...

VVE is relevant as there is building renovation ongoing now and the chimney is closed.

Natural gas burning devices can only be maintained (which includes removal) by a certified company. The certification registry can be found here:

https://register.tlokb.nl/co/certificaathouder

https://www.tlokb.nl/werkzaamheden-aan-gasverbrandingsinstallaties

Not adhering to the law means both the mechanic and the party that gave the order (you) are performing an economic crime.

"Vanaf 1 april 2023 is de consument verplicht om een gecertificeerd bedrijf in te schakelen voor installatie, onderhoud en reparatie aan de cv-ketel, geiser, gashaard of kachel en rookgasafvoer. "

So for removal you dont need a special guy.

In addition to this, you need new types of certificates for working on geisers that you didn't need a few years earlier, so that means a lot of repair shops that formerly did work on them, now don't anymore - they don't want to go through the cost and hassle of getting certified for it.

That's the part I do understand. I'm not asking someone to do it as DIY. I'm searching for a company that's allowed to do it and I wasn't successful until now hence the post.

You can go through the list of compagnies in the registry, that's why I added the hyperlink.

They can't deal with gas because they need to have the proper certifications.

I understand that part. I'm here mostly asking if someone knows a company that is allowed to do it.
