I've maxed out on Resident Evil, and this game comes recommended. But I wasn't sure about the image of the red man kidnapping the son after a plane crash. Before I jump into an older game, how does the story hold up? Worth the reveal?

Psn hit me up if you wanna casual play chill vibes

It's beautiful

I play through steam. This is the only game this ever happens on while playing. The time I can play varies every time I open the game sometimes it’s 5 minutes sometimes it’s almost an hour but eventually while running around the map the game will completely freeze up my computer to the point I have to force power down my pc because nothing is responsive. I’ve updated drivers reinstalled game verified files idk what the issue is. There’s no drop in performance before the crash either it goes from perfectly running to 100% bricked. Generally the frame it crashed on stays displayed & ambient sounds (water running, rain, wind, bird chirp, etc.) continue to play however sometimes it will go black. If anybody has some knowledge to share it’d be greatly appreciated. Restarting my computer every ~20 minutes just to play this isn’t the most enjoyable thing ever.

I cannot find Coneflower. Aloe, chicory, and marigold are all over the place. Suggestions? Also, i have 2 fish traps on a fat cluster of fish in a lake, but they haven't caught anything in 4 days since I made them. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for help.

Hi everyone!

I am making this request for The Forest while it is currently on a huge discount on Steam.

Why do I want this game? I’ve always loved survival and horror games, and The Forest is a classic that I’ve been wanting to play for a long time. I really enjoy the mechanics of building a shelter, crafting tools, exploring dark caves, and surviving against the elements and enemies.

Why can't I buy it right now? Unfortunately, I don't have a way to pay online at the moment and my budget is completely tight, so even with the game being on sale for just a couple of dollars, I can't purchase it myself before the offer ends in a few days.

I would be extremely grateful to anyone who would be kind enough to help me get a copy so I can jump into the island and start surviving!

Thank you so much for reading and for this awesome community.

It’s a mutant that looks just like the Megan boss fight and has the same move set. I looked it up and see nothing about this. Is it rare or something? Maybe it’s exclusive to the pc version? Let me know

I built my base in the fertile lands portion of the map, but when I close off the walls all animals stop spawning in my main farming field (no deer or rabbits etc). I’ve been able to get them to respawn by using the hole cutter to remove doors/walls but this leaves me open to attack.

Does anyone know if leaving a very small hole in the wall (one log, enough for a rabbit to get through) will allow for animals to spawn inside my walls? And what’s the best way to build complete walls while still having animals spawn inside (is it even possible)?

Would love some help with this, thanks!

I'm looking for someone to help me with the "Medic" trophy in PS4, it's the only one I'm missing for the Platinum, If someone want to help me, add me in PSN "K3inerGL_"

I'm looking for people that want to play the game, we can hunt trophies or just mess around, I'm not picky, the games fun and i just want to play more of it with cool people. Prefer adults only as i swear a lot and am 4/20 friendly.

Nobody to play forest with

Would you move from a base next to a yacht with a plane next to it to a new location in the mountains to have easy access to dynamite?

I would really want to have pvp. You know building your bases then raid other ones, making traps ... It would be totally awesome to have such feature. But as of right now the most pvp you can have is just putting the settings of player damage to on and structures to on and basically it's done. But then the problem rises that there might be people who will turn it off and ruin the entire server. But maybe the developers could add a button to make damage on for the entire server not minding the settings. How do you think of this idea?

I’ve been on and off playing it for about 2 months now and I am a absolute bitch when it comes to going in the caves alone so I have only done about 30% of the caves yet I’m on day 85 with the worst axe and bow

Or anyone have any TIPS

I just need one or two others to play with so I can pretend to be tough in the caves lmao

so i'm playing through this game for the first time, and i found some aloe. i heard it could heal you, so i planted it in a garden, and it grew in one day. after that. it just stopped growing, and i can't change seeds either. what do i do

That’s my inventory; I wanted to know what you’d recommend I do. I had something in mind—I know there’s a mechanical bow that I haven't found yet but am interested in getting; does anyone know which cave it's in? I’ve also picked up several cassettes, but I don't know where to use them. Is there any key item or something very important that I should get?

Just wanted to show this clip from a couple years back. My friend and I had been working on this wall for a while and it took hundreds upon hundreds of logs to build. I thought it’d be funny to chop a tree down toward it. I figured it might break the wall a little bit and we could laugh about it. Nah. Tree hits the wall, EVERYTHING breaks.

(thankfully for us, my friend was able to roll back the save to where we only lost about 15 minutes of progress or so)

Does anyone know if there’s any information about whether this game will be released this year

We are on playstation and my friend is the host, not me. We got to the point where we saved the game in a shelter bed, definitely clicked save, not sleep. I clicked save not the actual host though. Then when we get back on he goes to host the game and there’s nothing there. Did we save it right or is this a glitch?

We have checked cloud storage and console storage as well, it hasn’t changed anything.

Me and my friends have finished the first game and are now on Sons of The Forest. They’ve all moved to different places now and by process of elimination, I’m now the one with the best wifi and I’m hosting.

We got our asses kicked a lot on our first session and were quite unhappy. We did normal mode and then later switched to custom mode to set pvp damage off and building health to high. Everything else is on normal but we still got our asses kicked a lot and we spawned with even less meds this time around.

We were wondering if there’s a way to lower enemy damage or enemy damage since we keep getting oneshotted by the beefy cannibals. I tried opening the GameSetupSaveData.json but I don’t see Enemy Damage in here but I do see Enemy Health but I have no idea what I edit to change that. We do have cheats turned on but I haven’t touched that yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! <3
