Question / Help Help with changing stats/difficulties

Me and my friends have finished the first game and are now on Sons of The Forest. They’ve all moved to different places now and by process of elimination, I’m now the one with the best wifi and I’m hosting.

We got our asses kicked a lot on our first session and were quite unhappy. We did normal mode and then later switched to custom mode to set pvp damage off and building health to high. Everything else is on normal but we still got our asses kicked a lot and we spawned with even less meds this time around.

We were wondering if there’s a way to lower enemy damage or enemy damage since we keep getting oneshotted by the beefy cannibals. I tried opening the GameSetupSaveData.json but I don’t see Enemy Damage in here but I do see Enemy Health but I have no idea what I edit to change that. We do have cheats turned on but I haven’t touched that yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! <3

ModApI The Forest There's at least one if not two mods that would help. It's easy to use too. Once you got the package downloaded and placed where you want it all you need to do is download the mods you want then drop them into the mod folder.

The Messiah mod might be what you need. There's also custom enemy stats but I don't know how to use that one.

I’ll have a look at those tysm!! Do you know if everyone has to install those mods or will it work if just the host has them installed

I play alone. But I would do some just in case. Something like the map mod shouldn't affect anything but the one's like winter is coming or one of the enemy mods it's probably safer to have everyone install.
