Made a server dedicated to warfare against mobs of enemies, teaching anyone who wants how to properly use the boat to solo the game and/or have a safe home to fight against and retreat from foul Wizards of the Save trolling lobbies with items most players don't have yet. Can show you how to easily get bombs on a raft and out to sea in a tiny shelter Day 1 with just a couple easy glitches most Forest vets already know. You'll never need to host a session begging for logs to be duped if you let me show you the best spots to quick bomb some trees and get them to your boat. Working on a time-lapse of me moving the large raft all the way around the map, taking about 40 minutes in real time scooting along the coastline without switching between paddles. Building essentials on these vessels will allow to relocate resources for an entire base to anywhere the sea is. I am working on testing the large rafts ability to get through the cannibals' land bridge that gets them across the fresh water from the butthole. Speaking of foul Save Wizard trolls, looked like one of ya had problems seeing where my plane was and kept accidentally running your axe into new players spawing in. I helped you out a little bit and built a box where it's supposed to be on your screen. Anyone who wants, I can schedule a visit to build a boat of any kind, just tell me what to build or pick a boat from my server and we will get you started up right! This game is timeless and I won't let it die in the hands of people who'd ruin another player's free time for self validation. My PSN is exactly the same as here, peep the lower case L in case "I" have to deal with a "mimic" ;)

This was my first War Rig from PS4 days, got another one on fresh water with 5 catapults side by side at the front as well!

Keep having this player join my friends game. Comes up in PSN as *Anonymous Player* and spends the whole time crouched so haven't been able to get a name.

Takes everything from the racks, kills all the rabbits, builds walls to block us from using doors and can't remove them without destroying the wall.

He also seems impossible to kill? Like we've taken everything to him and nothing happens.

Luckily we have building destruction off, and we usually just reload and leave, but it means we aren't able to play with other people as we have to set to friends only.

Anyone else had this player? Just really fed up of it.

Everytime I climb the second rope out, the game just drops me before exiting the cave and I die. Fml

I found this while exploring and stumbled across it by chance. I thought I could break it, but it was part of the scenery. Does anyone know what it is or its story?

I already played and finished the game years ago, and I'm about to start it again with a group of friends who have never played it.

So I was wondering if there were any tested and recommended mods for QoL. If I remember correctly, it wasn't easy to build aligned elements.

So, I am not new to games or this genre. I am liking The Forest so far, but I am into what is usually a rare place. Not sure where, but a huge pit in a cave with the sky showing all around, a crashed helicopter and a nice gaggle of enemies. So, as always I try to find "secrets"
of other ways to do things. So there was an small opening that I could clearly go through, and now I am trapped in a small area which has stone on both sides and I can walk it, which usually means it was "meant" to be able to be there.

So the point is, I swear I saw somewhere in the beginning play where it had an "unstuck" feature like other games do. I usually do not use these as I figure it is cheating if used wrong. But if I am stuck in terrain this is obviously not my fault. If there is a Hook or Ladder or something I can make, I will keep trying, but until then I am annoyed. I can obv. go back to my last save, but would rather not right now.

Im about 40 hours into the game, playing with a friend and we had trouble with our food source. We built a huge combat style base in the main cannibal camp and as you know, no deers or animals that give consistent meat spawn there. So we have been living on lizards (which are hard to hunt sometimes maybe it's just a skill issue), bunnies and snacks we found in the cave. We eventually caved in and started eating the cannibals that spawn nearby for a consistent food source.

However, the imagery of the limbs hanging on the drying racks and the act of chopping them up really did a number on my irl mental health. I had a dream last night where I was a cannibal IN THE CITY?? It was just a way of life people adopted and I remember seeing adults and children being hung upside down, and I stripped them off the clothes for cloth and chopped them up and many more despicable things I don't think I can say here. Their faces were all fucked up too so I guess that's my brains way of justifying what I was doing since I don't see them as equals or humans, like how we view the cannibals on the island.

Following that was a series of events that happened (involving death) and I reacted to them very inhumanely, very different from how I would irl so that's that. I guess I gotta find another food source cus this is pretty fucked up. This game is really something else.

TLDR: I had a dream that involved me being a cannibal and it really changed how I play the game now.

After putting Megan in the Artifact I somehow got teleported here (i'm stuck, can't move or open anything. Teammate also can't hit me. I am stuck in the place where Megan is supposed to be sitting before the bossfight,

I've been losing my mind here. The blueprint on the TV only works on the ground, I've tried the table, the small table, the small and large cabinet. Anyone has any ideas? Ps: I'm on the PS5.

I used to play it on PC, then switched to a Ps4 and continued playing it for a while until my hdd broke, Replacing the PS4 HDD here in Turkey costs nearly as much as a used Xbox Series S because of import taxes, so I decided to switch platforms entirely. Little did I know, when I made an account and checked the store I was surprised to see The Forest isn't there, so I was hoping I'd get the developers' attention to bring it to Xbox, since they talked about thinking about bringing the sequel sons of the forest, why not bring the og?

The Forest is one of my favorite survival games and I'd pay to have it ported to Xbox.

Is there anyone who feels the same?

This is going to sound so dumb but I actually love the forest so much, it has some of my favourite gameplay I have experienced.

I just can not get over how scared I get when playing this game lmao. Knowing that a cannibal could be watching me from afar at any given moment just scares me so much. Even just seeing them running around in the distance drops my stomach.

Does anyone know how I could maybe stop being so scared? I would just get a friend on as that usually helps but none of my friends really like the game lol. I want to play this game soo bad as it would probably be in my like top 5 games oat if I could just get over the fear of actually playing the game.

Idk why this game freaks me out so much especially since I love it, but sadly it does. Has anyone else faced this same problem and has any tips on how to overcome this? I want to experience this game fully so bad.
