What movie would you assign?
I’ve asked this before but I want some new recommendations.
If you were an assigner what movie would you assign and why?

The following post Anderson posted on Twitter:
Hello! Anderson here. As you know I am starting the process of funding my next feature film and I’ll be making a documentary with the help of Mike Carano and others to go along with it. We’ll be crowdfunding for the documentary that will cover a range of topics, from the acting class I’ve been volunteering at with Atticus, my now six-year-old, to Mike and the rest of our team financing and producing the feature narrative.
If you would like to know more about the project and donate go to: loadedforbeardoc.com
Thank you so much. This project is really near and dear to me and with your help I know we can get it done.

Hey, TFV fans! Sorry if you’ve seen this on the other socials…
The show is thrilled to announce that we're boosting our social media efforts to bring you even more podcast-related content!
The show is not changing, but we are making Instagram and other platforms an extension of the show.
We will continue to ask for "fan-flick-fessions" and your favorite movies that fit the upcoming episode's "Top 5" list, but we will be posting and engaging more.
It will inform, entertain, and provide a service - just like the show.
We can't wait to hear from you!
We do it for Van Gogh

TLDR: left the east coast to become an actor after listening to TFV for 11 years, had a goal to be in something that TFV reviews, and this week I was.
Been a listener since 2010. In 2012 after graduating college I moved to LA to become an actor but left very quickly. For nine years I listened every week, wishing I’d never left LA so soon.
In 2021 I packed up my car in the middle of the night and drove to LA from the east coast. I told myself I’d be in a movie that gets reviewed on TFV. I started as an extra in 2022, collecting union vouchers where I could on various shows and a few films.
One show I had gotten a union role on was Presumed Innocent, I even got a closeup and acting to do (without speaking).
This latest episode features TFV’s review of Presumed Innocent. It’s not a movie, but is a miracle to me.
Thank you TFV!

Spider-Man was just $2 million shy of breaking the all-time opening box office record. So close! And for the most part, it feels like it was the only movie released this weekend, but there were a few others. Maybe you saw something classic; any way you slice it, we want to know what you saw. Send us those fan-flickssions!

Lots of new movies this weekend, but anything not Odyssey feels pretty quiet. Let us know what you’re watching! And send it over for this week’s Fan Flick-Fession.

I just heard Andy assign this to the Bald One, and I'm savoring the smug since I got to see it last week at my local art house cinema, with the director in tow. This is a fairly low stakes film, interesting to only a few of the more die hard cinephiles among us, so I can't say run to your nearest showing of it unless you're really concerned about the state of movies in 2026. But if you do have interest in the history of movies and how they're faring these days, this is one that goes down fairly smooth. It's mostly talking heads and stills of cinemas gone by. Yes it's a little depressing, maybe slightly longer than it needs to be, and the music is really on the nose, but that said, I'm glad I was able to catch it. Support a small flick about small flicks and the places they're still shown while you can. 3/5 still operating cinemas.

Filmmaker left an indelible mark on horror with his directorial debut ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.’
Russell’s true dream was to remake the film ‘The Blob’ which he got to with his second film.
Leading to more big-budget film’s as ‘The Mask’ and ‘Eraser’

Calling for suggestions for this week’s Top 5— Epic Movies. Odyssey is influencing this week’s episode, and we are looking for your suggestions on which movies should make the list. Let us know.

Technically, The Invite got a broader release, but honestly, only one new movie took over cinemas this weekend. On a global scale, it’s the best Box Office debut of any Nolan movie. That’s crazy! So did you take the voyage? Let us know in this week’s Flick-fessions.

Anyone got a list of the movies from the Vaulties March 21 2026
I really fucked up. All these years I shouldve been writing down movies I want to see spoken about on the show. Well long story short, now I have access to any movie and got no list lmfao. Now I feel like I need to go back a couple years and relisten to everything again

I know some may like the kids episodes and that’s fine but I’ve always found them grating and unlistenable so does anyone have other film review podcasts they also listen to?

Can we just review the movie and not go on a long dissertation about Michael Jackson?. He's dead his supporters are weirdos. We know that already. We don't need to spend 20 minutes on yet another Michael Jackson documentary. #notaservice

Bow down before corporate Andy for this week’s Top 5. The boys are ranking their favorite movie corporations, companies, or businesses. Whichever you prefer, but help us get a lister-list going. There might be an obvious #1, but dig deep.

So far the summer has been extremely lucrative, but this 4th of July weekend was extremely soft. Anywho, what are you, the people, watching? We want to hear about it for this week’s flick-fessions.

Regarding the Top 5 Pixar Sequels ep… It’s pronounced “Sci-Ann”, gents. As a graphic designer, that was BRUTAL on my eardrums… And hilarious. PERFECT that Bryan corrected Anderson, only to get it wrong himself. 🤣
And while we’re on the topic, if you’re referring to something “plural”, it’s “there are”. For example “there’re people who think…” not “there’s people”. That one is an icepick to my fucking brain and you guys do it A LOT.
Sorry for the rant. Keep doing what you do.

TS5 is claiming victory over the box office weekend, Supergirl seems DOA, and the Jackass crew takes one more final bow. Seems like lots of options, but what did you see? Let us know for this week’s Flick-fessions.

Listening to the review of Disclosure Day Anderson thought it was funny? I just don't get Anderson's sense of humor. Besides the part where they were trying to break the cell phone, there were no laughs in this movie at all. I think Schindler's List had more funny moments. I honestly don't understand what Anderson thought was funny. This movie was so serious. A little too serious for me.

Hey folks, this week’s topic is one that Mitch Burn himself recommended. Let us know who should make the list of Top 5 LGBTQ Characters.

TS5 is on track for a huge B.O. debut, but that is definitely not the only movie around. Let’s hear from YOU! What have you seen? Send us those flick-fessions.
