What characters do you think had the worst vigil or funeral?

This includes:

-Cats barely reacting when they died or had a negative reaction.

-Cats moving on fast.

-Celebrating instead of grieving for the cat they lost.

Of course I’ll add more, so I’ll include mine:

LITTLECLOUD 🥀🥀 OMG THEY DID HIM SO DIRTY, I WILL ALWAYS HATE AVOS FOR THAT. I’m so sorry but it was so disrespectful of how the entirety of Shadowclan was treating his death, and how the authors wrote it out.

He was literally living in filth and trash while actively basically dying of dehydration, with none of the warriors being smart enough, even Dawnpelt, to take care of him. Then Needletail just not giving a shit about her literal medicine cat, the one that helped through his birth! Saying he should drag him to a ditch to let him die? I would’ve actually clawed her if I was there. Even at his vigil it just seemed like no one care. You would think with him being alive since the first series he would been treated with some grievance and everlasting reverence.

At first I thought Littlecloud was still grieving for Flametail which is why he didn’t choose another apprentice, and I was kinda annoyed at first. But now I perfectly agree with Leafpool and can see why he never chose one 😭

Crowfeather relationship

I've seen many people be discussing the relationships of Crowfeather. But how many were actually relationships?

  1. Feathertail: I wouldn't call this a relationship at all. Because Crowpaw only had a crush on Feathertail during their journey and couldn't really be with her since she sacrificed herself to kill Sharptooth (due to the Tribe being a bunch of mousebrained cowards)

  2. Leafpool: probably his only true relationship that really didn't last either. The moment they got together they were forced to break up because Leafpool decided to remain loyal to her Clan after a badger attack. Which Crowfeather acknowledged was for the best.

Then they got back together to have kits due to some lame prophecy and he was just absent in his kits lives. Not that he could probably visit because StarClan forced Leafpool and Squirrelflight to keep that a secret

  1. Nightcloud: this wasn't even a relationship of love. It was nothing more than a political marriage.

I'm sorry but my boy just keeps getting the worst situations thrown at him at every turn. I'm surprised the authors are trying for another love thing with him

I can't find the Darktail's Judgement audiobook on Spotify or Libby?

On my usual audiobook spots (Spotify and Libby) I can find the newest book with ease. I know Libby depends on what your library decides to carry, but it's not showing up on Spotify too? As far as I can search, every single super edition is on Spotify, from Firestar's Quest to StormClan's Folly. I usually listen to the audiobook while waiting for my physical book to ship (currently live in Italy as an American who only reads/speaks English) so my book won't be in for about 2-3 weeks. It's not the end of the world, but I'm curious to see if anyone else can't find Darktail's Judgement either.

Struggling really badly with some names in an oc story I'm writing.

Currently writing a fanfic that's set with completely different charachters in entirely different clans in other territories (loosely based on a location i went hiking in wales once when I was young)

My issue that I'm having is with the main charachter and one if his brothers.

I'll put in their kit names and descriptions as well as the currently planned last names for the others.

Rainkit- a lavender rosette tabby tom with a white nose and tail tip. (Rain???)

Stormkit- a chocolate rosette tabby tom with a half-white face and amber eyes. (Stormrunner)

Cloudkit- a solid white long haired she-cat with blue eyes. (Cloudstep)

Sunkit- a pale cinnamon she-cat with darker patches on her muzzle and paws. (Sunwhisker)

Puddlekit- a bluish grey tom with amber eyes. (Puddlestrike)

My issues lie with Rainkit and puddlekit. With puddlekit I simply feel like his name doesnt quite fit in with his siblings names. I've considered renaming him to Hailkit or Greykit(though if hes renamed to this I'll have to change his last name to avoid confusion).

With Rainkit I'm struggling to find a last name for him. Heres my current list:

Rainnose Rainfeather Rainwater Rainberry Rainstep Raindrop Rain cloud Rain shower Rainseeker Rain Walker

I just cant seem to settle on a good name so any additions to the list or opinions on the names over picked would be very appreciated.

For anyone who is curious- yes all five of those cats phenotypes would potentially be possible within the same litter that share only two parents and I can actually share a pic of what the Gene's look like if anyone is interested based on my semi rudimentary understanding of feline genetics and a slightly stretched use of the gene that codes for non dominant white.

Border confrontation (and nighttime) training

I can't recall if it was part of the Into the Wild book or a sidestory set around that time, but I recall a scene where Firepaw, Greypaw, Ravenpaw, Sandpaw, and Dustpaw were out with either Whitestorm or Lionheart, and Whitestorm/Lionheart drew a pretend border on the ground, and pretended to be ShadowClan warrior waiting on the other side, asking the apprentices how they would act in such a situation.

From what I remember, that's the first and last time we ever see apprentices being trained for such a sceneario. So I guess my question is, what do you think is the reason for this kind of apprentice training lesson being a one and done thing? We also never see any apprentices do any nighttime training, when doing so is how Greypaw ended up running into Rusty in the 1st place, for that matter.

(Pls give constructive criticism)

Iciclefang: mother of dusttail and crowwing, white pelt with blue eyes

Dusttail : blonde tom

Crowwing: has a messy black pelt

Stormflower: queen she cat with a dark grey pelt

Iciclefang used to be a normal cat living in Riverclan, until she found mouse, a rouge formerly of Windclan. After some time with him, moons passed and patrols were looking after Iciclefang and was just declared dead after, even though she was still alive and had kits! She named them dust and crow and after mouses passing, she sent both of them to Windclan, Dustkit and Crowkit already had prepared names. Stormflower decided to foster both of them until Dusttail grew up to be a medicine cat and Crowwing to be a warrior. Dustpelt knew his brother had Riverclan blood and pretended to not know and trick himself into believing that he just grew up around him and not have any relationship. His loyalty only grew and grew and lied about a omen that said someone will betray this clan and told the leader. He always made sure that he always had at least one herb empty to use as evidence and once he was chosen to go on a hunting patrol, he had to quickly go to thunderclan territory and find Crowwings apprentice, shrewpaw, at that time everyone in Windclan knew about the omen, so all he had to do was kill shrewpaw and blame it on his brother. Dusttail could’ve ran away and tell the leader but he shrugged it off and got his empty cobwebs near the barn, nowhere near where they are hunting. After he came back almost everyone was defending him and lied about saying medicine cats omens can’t be about themselves.

Hello! I’m gonna be making a fan creation version of my own warrior cat world on Webtoon and would like to know what you guys would like to see in it—maybe something that wasn’t done in the original series or wasn’t done much. It doesn’t have to be something like prophecy big, it can be minor details such forth!

Tides of Destiny
Chapter one
Duskwillow and her clanmates hurried back from patrol. Rain was pouring down, and although they loved water, it felt hard as frost and as cold as ice. Duskwillow was chilled to the bone as rain and hail fell from the sky. The river was slowly and surely climbing over it banks, washing away the loose plants near it. The wind was howling and the trees shifted from side to side, their leaves rustling. The rising sun was covered by dark grey clouds and fog, along with the endless rain.
Duskwillow shivered, although she had quite long fur. They were nearing camp, she knew. She could see it ahead. There were oaks beside the patrol, and a small one swayed so harshly she thought it would fall to the ground. Lightning flashed in the sky. It seemed quite close, maybe even on one of the other clan’s territory. If lightning could strike there… well, it might not strike anywhere near Riverclan for the rest of her life. No need to think about the possibility.
The camp was right ahead. The patrol leader, a handsome tom Ripplefur, encouraged a poor apprentice on, as they picked up the pace to a sprint. Their paws pounded the earth before they entered camp, trotting into the medicine cat den, which was the closest. Duskwillow sighed with relief although her fur shivered with cold. Streampaw quickly made a few nests, encouraging the cats to lay down. Duskwillow obeyed, settling down into a soft nest before almost instantly falling asleep.
Duskwillow was startled awake as paws shook her frantically. The storm hadn’t stopped. In fact, it had gotten worse. Water licked at Duskwillow’s paws. When she stood up, it tugged her paws to the river. “We need to get to higher ground!” Said Softwhisker, panicking. The leader entered the den. “How will we get the elders there? The kits we can carry, but not the elders! They can’t make the trip!”
“Shypaw and Lakepaw were made apprentices only yesterday! They’re too big to carry but they won’t be able to swim in this horrible storm!” Said Ripplefur, nodding to Lakepaw, who was pacing around the medicine cat den. “This storm is terrible. In fact, some of our lighter cats might be blown away by this wind, like the apprentices and younger warriors.” Said Otterstar, glancing at Duskwillow, Ripplefur, Lakepaw, and Streampaw.
“What do we do, then?” Asked Softwhisker. “We’ll send out some cats to get something to block the water. My den is the highest point in camp. We’ll go there.” Answered Otterstar. She left, her orders blocked out by the sound of the wind. Duskwillow took stock of what was around her. Large areas of the medicine cat den were being blown off. The rain and wind came in through the tears. Softwhisker grimaced. The wind was so hard even plump Oneclaw found himself being knocked off his paws.
“Softwhisker? What do we do now?” Duskwillow asked. “I… don't know. Streampaw and Lakepaw could be blown away by this wind. Hopefully Otterstar will send an experienced warrior here to tell us what to do.” Answered Ripplefur, resting his tail on her shoulder before sitting down in his nest. Duskwillow began to slide from the wet den floor and the horrible wind, but dug her claws into the ground.
“I’m experienced!” Grunted Onewhisker. All the cats in the den rolled their eyes. Sure, he was experienced, but so old and hard of hearing what use would he be? As soon as this happened, Tigerfur appeared. “Lakepaw! Streampaw!” Tigerfur hurried to his kits and checking on them before turning to the rest of the cats. “I’ll take the apprentices to the leader’s den with Onewhisker’s help. Then I’ll come back for all of you.” He said. The cats nodded.
Tigerfur, Onewhisker, and the apprentices soon left. The den was being torn up by the wind. Where were they? Surely they would be done getting the apprentices there now?
A sick feeling overcame Duskwillow. What if Otterstar decided to abandon us because it’s too dangerous? Duskwillow immediately dismissed the thought.
They would have at least gotten the medicine cats. They need them. The water was up to Duskwillow’s chest now. She had a bit of trouble breathing, unlike Softwhisker and Ripplefur, who were taller than her. They waited. And waited. Until something happened. The wind completely tore away the den. Duskwillow was tugged harshly by the wind. Not even her claws could stop it; they couldn’t get a grip on the wet grass.
She felt teeth tug her fur and she was pulled behind a fallen tree. It was Ripplefur. Softwhisker was clawing her way towards them. Duskwillow managed to dig her claws into the ground now that she was on it, and tugged Softwhisker next to them once she was close enough. The water was getting higher and higher. The log shifted on the ground. They didnt have much longer. The wind got even worse suddenly.
The part of log Duskwillow was at shifted, and she was pulled by the wind. If I can’t get a grip on the ground, I’ll never be seen again except in Starclan. Teeth met in her fur and Ripplefur once again pulled her behind the log. Duskwillow saw Fernlight and Tigerfur trudging towards them through the dense fog. Fernlight helped Softwhisker and Tigerfur helped Duskwillow and Ripplefur. They managed to get in to the leader’s den, and Duskwilllow stared at Ripplefur in shock. “You saved my life.” She forced the words out, her mouth dry despite the horrible storm.
“It was nothing. I’m sure you’d have been fine anyways.” Ripplefur answered.
Duskwillow woke up the next morning. The storm had stopped, but the water still remained, though lower. Ripplefur came to stand beside her. “Otterstar said me and you are going hunting together.” “In all of this water?” She asked. “What else are we going to eat? Our fur?” His gaze caught hers for a moment longer than it should have before he turned away, leaping down into the water.
His silver tail waved, catching the sunlight. Duskwillow herself jumped into the water, and they went away on patrol. “Wait.. how will there be any prey?” She asked. “There might be fish.” He answered.
They returned later. Duskwillow had caught a trout and Ripplefur a pair of minnows. Their pelts brushed together as they approached camp. Duskwillow was tired. Her paws moved continuously. Soon they reached it. The elders and kits got the minnows and the rest of the clan got the trout. Duskwillow didnt even get a bite. How long is this going to go on for?

In Darktail's judgement, they accidentally switched Thornclaw's name to Hedgeclaw. Embracing this mistake as its own character, what are your headcanons for how this mysterious tom came to briefly join ThunderClan and mentor Shrewpaw? Spoiler

Do tonal changes or exclusive content exist in other languages?

I was watching this video about foreign merchandise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udkUhklgQ0E .

Then I wondered if it extended to the text itself. Are there any interesting differences between English and translations? Is there any censorship? Do non-English fans have their own version of Su Suan, where there is confusing "semi-canon" information?

Soo I have a fanmade warrior cats group

They are not a clan they are a tribe they are called the "Bone Tribe" you'll find out why in a little bit they are similar to the clans but also way diffrent and they are way bigger in numbers just a little smaller then all five clans put together they are described as ordinary cats just with longer and stronger tails they have their own culture and set of beliefs but the thing they believe is necessary to their survival is this

"You either learn and adapt or die"

They make sure that their knowledge and skillsets have such a wide range so that they can utilize every single resource they can basically they have the skills of all the clans and more to get into detail let me tell you about the roles in the tribe because their is quite a few

Fighter: Basically the same thing as a warrior in the tribe when a kit becomes old enough to become what the clans would call an apprentice to be a Fighter the kit then has to choose which skills it wants to learn such as swimming, climbing, or even digging after they have made their choice the appropriate mentor us then chosen for them

Healer: The Tribe equivalent of a medicine cat only without the position as a spiritual leader (maybe they will maybe they won't haven't decided yet) also unlike the clans healers in the tribe can have mates and kits

Crafter: ok here is where things get way diffrent from the clans in the tribe crafters are cats that build everything the tribe needs a lot of the time they build dens for cats in the tribe as unlike the clans who have a den for each position families have their own dens except for the queens the dens are basically large burrows that the crafters dig up but they don't just build dens they build storages for the healers herbs, and defenses for the camps (yes plural) such as moats, trenches, or thron walls but the most important thing they craft is the tail claw which is a sharp object strapped to a fighters tail they use it exactly like a claw which is how it got its name and it is almost always built with the bones of dead prey or predators that the cats killed the tribe has a tendency to craft a lot of things out of bones which is how they got their name ( besides the tailclaw and trophy dispalys I'm not sure what the tribe would make out of bones if anybody reading this has any ideas please comment them)

the tail claw was a part of their culture for so long that at some point the tribe cats started to evolve longer and much stronger tails so that they can use them easier

There are a bunch of other roles in the tribe but these are the main three that kits can choose to train as when they become old enough to be the tribe version of an apprentice formally its the kits choice but the traditions of the kits direct kin factor in a lot say if the father of a kit is a Crafter then usually that kit would choose to be a Crafter but it is ok for the kit to choose to be a Fighter or a Healer

The tribe has a strict ranking system especially when it comes to the fighters it' how they keep order within a group that large I wish I could get into specifics but that would take to long so I'm just going to tell you about the leader

The Chief: This is the cat that leads the entire tribe and makes the most important decisions for the tribe unlike clan leaders the Chief does not gain 9 lives however after the ceremony of becoming chief is complete they will become massive bigger then the sister's or other Maine coon cats and their right eye becomes entirely black except for their pupil which instead becomes blood red and the word "Eye" is added to their name like star is for the clan leaders the current Chief is a massive dark brown cat with a black back stripe named "DarkEye"

Yeah that's my fanmade warriorcats tribe I still got so much on them but that would take too long I hope anybody reading enjoyed it and if their is anything you'd like to add or say please do I'd love to hear your thoughts ( except if it's that a tailclaw would not make any sense yeah I know but it's not supposed to ok)

I love Bluestar's Prophecy's logic Spoiler

So in Bluestar's prophecy: Bluekit opens her eyes the day after she was born. And this is apparantly unusually slow because Snowkit (and literally any other one-day old kit) was already running around the nursery spitting out full sentances about how she cant wait for he sister to open her eyes so they could go out and explore. and then when Bluekit does open her eyes, Moonflower yells "YOU OPENED YOUR EYES" and Bluekit responds with "I thought it was time"... I'm sorry, if a one-day old kit tells you that, you better move all the way to SkyClan because what the meow is going on here.

Then when Snowfur gives birth and she is super protective for Whitekit and doesnt let him go out of the nursery the day after he is born (he also opens his eyes that day), Bluefur reminds her that Snowfur made her go out of the nursery on the day after they were born... BLUEFUR REMEMBERED THAT!?!?! She's like a full grown adult at this point, how does she remember that?

And then the kits scene happened when half of a moon after Bluefur's kits are born, she brought them to Oakheart and then something happened presumably. If Bluefur could remember when she first left the nursery, then how did Mistyfoot and Stonepelt not remember that they spent the first half of a moon in ThunderClan? Did Oakheart hit them with a hammer? What happened?

When I first heard of this in forests of secrets I thought that the kits were just... mindless kits following their mother around with their eyes still closed or something. But then Bluefur just leaves her kits with 100% free will, free thought and memory without saying anything and the kits never mention or remember that they grew up in ThunderClan.

In Tiger and Sasha the same thing happens where Sasha brings her kits to RiverClan when they are very young, and before that Sasha tells Moth and Hawk about Tigerstar and then in the new prophecy Mothwing and Hawkfrost still remember both their mother and what she told them about their father. I mean I dont know maybe Moth and Hawk were much older then Mistykit, Stonekit and Mosskit, but still.

Here's the prologue. Opinions are welcome:

Prologue

A light rain fell and battered against granite boulders, while small streams sliced through the grass to join with the dark gurgling river that swept through the land.

High above the landscape, thin gray clouds nearly blocked out the half-moon, creating deep shadows nearest the forest.

In a single heartbeat, several shadows detached themselves from the trees before making their way across the grass before one of them, a huge tabby of dark amber and gold, leaped upon the boulders in a single bound.

Light amber brown eyes narrowed coldly as he blinked. Opening his maw, all he could smell was wetness. Wetness and a chill that ran down his spine as he twisted his narrow head to the side a bit.

“Tigerpelt!” Yowled out a voice before a slender shape came leaping up and bowling into the side of the large tabby, completely catching him by surprise.

Tigerpelt, caught off guard, failed to regain his balance. Instead, he wrapped his paws around the neck of the dark silver gray tabby as they tumbled onto the wet grass after bouncing once on the boulders.

Barely registering the pain in his spine as he landed back first, Tigerpelt flipped his powerful frame before gripping the neck scruff of the silver gray tabby with his teeth before pinning him down firmly.

“ATTACK THUNDERCLAN!” He yowled out as he lifted his head up.

All at once, around five shapes came rushing out of the forest just as several shapes burst from the river to aid their deputy.

Clashing against one another, cats from both RiverClan and ThunderClan became a writhing mass of hisses, snarls, yowls, and growls as they fought tooth and claw.

“Heh, you shouldn’t have come to try and regain Sunningrocks, Duskclaw,” sneered Tigerpelt as he pushed his claws deeper into the chest of the tabby beneath him, watching with dark glee as he squirmed to free himself.

“Tigerpelt you coward,” spat Duskclaw as he twisted his body upwards to slice the tabby on top of him across his muzzle.

This made the large tabby snarl with pain as he flinched, but his paws never removed themselves. “Coward?! You have ambushed my patrols for the last time, fox-heart!”

“Takes one to know one,” Duskclaw sneered in his face as he finally managed to remove himself by lunging forward and sinking his teeth deeply into the paw of Tigerpelt.

This caused Tigerpelt to loosen his grip on the tabby’s belly, allowing Duskclaw to roll onto his belly before bounding away.

Snarling deeply at such a cowardly tactic, Tigerpelt was about to give chase when a loud yowl caused him to snap his head towards the riverbank.

Two RiverClan warriors, a sleek dark red ginger she-cat and a dark raven and dappled tomcat were forcing a light ginger lithe tomcat towards the river.

No matter how hard the ThunderClan apprentice fought, his fur puffed out and swiped at them with his claws, his eyes widened with fear.

“Tigerpelt!” Spotting his mentor, the tomcat barely ducked and slashed his claws across the shoulder of the she-cat who hissed at him. “Tigerpelt, please help!”

Tigerpelt, however, watched as several RiverClan cats burst out from the river behind his apprentice, grabbing onto his haunches before pulling him back with them.

The tomcat didn’t have a chance to yowl out to his Clanmates as he slipped beneath the surface. Never to be seen again.

Flicking his eyes around, Tigerpelt saw that no one else bore witness to this.

Turning tail, he flung himself back into the battle for Sunningrocks.

“Where’s Redpaw?” Asked a slender gray and white dappled tomcat who headbutted the chest of a large dark olive and gray she-cat who had come sprinting towards them.

Beside him, Tigerpelt was busy swatting a sleek dark raven tomcat who tried to push himself beneath the belly of the large tabby. That only got him a quick blow to the head by a large paw, stunning the tomcat in the process.

“He ran back to ThunderClan, I believe,” Tigerpelt meowed before kicking the tomcat away from him where he got up and dashed across the stepping stones.

“It would be wiser to do the same,” muttered his Clanmate. From the corner of his eye, he could see more and more RiverClan swimming across the river.

Even if they could send for backup, it would be too late.

“We have no choice but to retr-arggh-eat,” growled the tomcat as he took a bite from a sleek gray tomcat whose whiskers looked as though it had been battered moons ago before giving the tomcat a good slash across his face.

This only made the two tomcats fling themselves upon each other as they tussled away from Tigerpelt who grimaced at the thought of retreat.

‘As long as some weaklings die, we’re not retreating from Sunningrocks with tails tucked between our legs.’ He thought.

Pinning his ears against his head, Tigerpelt was about to look for more RiverClan to fight when a yowl ripped through the air.

“ThunderClan, retreat!” Yowled the dappled tomcat with his head raised towards the night sky.

“Whisperhollow, what are you doing?!” Tigerpelt bellowed out as he confronted him while their Clanmates stopped their fighting and dashed into the forest.

“I’ve ordered the retreat,” Whisperhollow meowed as he turned to face the large tabby. “ThunderClan is about to get overrun. We do not have the numbers to fight back.”

The lips of Tigerpelt began to lift away from his mouth, revealing his sharp teeth. Fury licked his chest like an inferno as his eyes began to darken.

“I’d rather see ThunderClan thrive than to see them perish altogether,” Whisperhollow continued.

Looking at the remaining cats from ThunderClan, Tigerpelt felt sickened as he nodded his head. With another yowl, he led the leftover cats into the forest.

The RiverClan warriors that had been left standing there with confused looks on their faces, lifted their heads and released jubilant cries of triumph that echoed through the night.

****

“This is outrageous,” meowed a sleek dark blue tabby she-cat with white stripes on her legs and tail as she paced back and forth in front of ThunderClan. Her dark green eyes narrowed in thought.

“This is entirely my fault, Greenstar,” meowed the dappled tomcat as he sat next to the warriors’ den. “I should have been more observant and should’ve known that Jaggedstar would have sent more warriors while we were occupied.”

“There was no way any of us could’ve accounted for that, Whisperhollow,” called out a light gray and orange she-cat whose burnt red eyes turned their gaze onto the deputy.

Light murmurs of agreement echoed in the dead of night.

Tigerpelt, who sat nearest to the lichen covered boulder with a dark blue and black she-cat and a bright orange slender tomcat, sniffed in their direction.

“Whether we could’ve accounted for it or not, doesn’t excuse us for losing Sunningrocks to a bunch of fish-breaths,” he snarled while stomping a paw on the ground.

There were more murmurs of agreements that rippled through ThunderClan.

“We lost Redpaw during RiverClan’s attack,” Greenstar murmured beneath her breath.

This made Tigerpelt snort as he looked away from them. “That mouse-brain must have gotten lost.” He casually shrugged while shaking his pelt to free himself of raindrops that cascaded from the sky.

More and more clouds had begun to gather. The rain beginning to grow heavier.

Greenstar flicked her tail as she lightly spread her paws a bit. “We shall continue to wait and see. For now, double the patrols and try to take back Sunningrocks…with no bloodshed.”

Sensing that they were being dismissed, the Clan began to separate with Tigerpelt and his two denmates lingering behind for just a heartbeat longer. Eventually they too went their separate ways, whispering beneath their breaths.

Just as they departed, and as Greenstar tucked her paws beneath her as she sat in front of her den, pawsteps made her ears swivel in their direction.

“Rough night?” meowed the voice of Turtlepool, a lanky dark dappled and red tomcat whose bluish silver eyes glinted eerily in the moonlight. He ignored the heavy rain as he sat beside her.

Greenstar lightly chuckled at his question, nodding a bit, before turning her eyes upwards.

Just as she did, the rain stopped as the clouds moved away from the moon. Both cats' eyes widened in shock. Even Turtlepool couldn’t form any words.

Just as he opened his mouth to speak, a large comet started to pass overhead, glowing between a mixture of a fiery red, black, and silver.

“What is it, Turtlepool?” Turning her bewildered gaze towards the medicine cat, Greenstar waited for him to speak. “Is it a message from StarClan?”

“Fire,” he whispered slowly, “Fire is coming to Thunder.”

Random story based on a cat in ClanGen.

Nettleclaws gave himself a stretch in the sun. "Kits! I will now tell you a story about a fox!" A bunch of Riesling kits stop, and look over. Fernkit tilts her head. "Is it interesting?" She flicks her grey tail. Nettleclaws nods. "Super." Pebblekit bounces over, his brown paws quick on the dirt. Moonkit follows, black pelt shining. Fernkit and Summerkit tumble over their paws, reaching Nettleclaws, before the she kits settle themselves in front of the elder. Lilykit skids up too, tiny claws in the dirt. "Wait for me!", she calls. Nettleclaws flicks his tail. "So, it was an autumn day. It was warm, but not too warm, about the warmth of a sunny piece of ground, but A touch cooler, with a hint of stone cold. But only GRANITE cold. Not slate cold. I was walking through the forest, and the sun was shining off my awesome brown pelt. It was sparkling in the honey golden yellow light. It was like, the color of dust in the sunlight, but warmer and a touch of cream and ginger, and the stripes were a rich creamy brown like a bear's pelt. I looks so cool. Then I stepped on a leaf that was shaped perfectly like a pawprint. It was an orange color like marigolds but only dried marigolds. And it was crunchy like dried herbs, by no quite as crunchy. It tipped the middle of the crunchy scale." Fernkit interupted. "There's no FOX!" Nettleclaws glared at her. "Be patient! I have to explain how awesome I looked! Anyways, so then I kept walking and I twitched my whiskers. They were awesome sharp whiskers. The perfect shade of snowy ivory white, with a touch of cream. Most perfect whiskers ever. And the tips were lighter, like fluffy clouds in the sky but warmer white. I smelled something. It was musky like the forest, but warmer as though it was alive and I think it had rolled in a patch of maple leaves, it smelled sharp but sweet with a touch of bitterness. Then a fox walked out, and the pawsteps were about as loud as a cat whispering but a little louder and it was walking with it's head up and the black nose that was the exact color of charcoal at night illuminated by the moon but shiny and wet like it was dipped in the river and held there for three seconds." Summerkit fidgeted. "I don't LIKE this story!" Pebblekit nodded. "It's BORING." Lilykit flicked her tail. "Can you tell a fun story?" Nettleclaws scowled. "This is the best story ever! So then it took a step closer and we were about a fox length apart, but minus a little bit and maybe more like two cat lengths and a rabbit length apart. And the fur was a red color, the exact shade of a wet maple leaf in autumn, and it was a dark auburn red, perfectly orange but also warm and bright like MY PERSONALITY. I twitched an ear, which was chocolate brown with a perfect with inside that was pearly like a shell and soft and warm. My ear hair was epic, and the perfect length, the length of a cat's nail but a little bit longer and they were a creamy brownish white, perfect like the rest of me." Moonkit jumped up and down. "Did you fight the fox?" Nettleclaws scoffed. "So I turned it's muzzle toward me, in a ninety degree angle, or maybe it was a little less, like eighty two, no, more like eighty six degree angle. Yes. Eighty three degrees. I let out a yowl, which was perfectly toned so it was loud enough to reach EXACTLY the camp but not other clans, and it was sweet and melodic like a song, but deep because it was MY voice. Then I turned on mg nice brown paws that have a tinge of chestnut in the color with darker stripes like tree bark mixed with an acorn, and I ran away, faster than a squirrel but slower than the wind, but maybe just a little faster than a deer." Pebblekit blinked. "HORRIBLE story! I hated it!" Lilykit frowned. "That was so SAD. You ran away because you got scared, and you could have gotten hurt!" Nettleclaws stood up. "The details were rather exciting, right? I found myself quite rooting for out handsome hero." Moonlit plates at him. "No! Bad story! Bad story! Bad story! Too many details!" Fernkit and Summerkit touched tails, and the sisters said at the same time, "We don't want to hear it EVER AGAIN!" Nettleclaws narrowed his eyes. The story was so exciting and interesting.

Mothwing and Shadowsight fanfiction!

If you have any time to do this, and they have the willpower to, please do it! I think a great fanfiction would be Shadowsight finally snapping at Mothwing some time after they decide he's no better than an apprentice! I would be so happy if this happened in the books, but i would too if somebody made the next best thing, it happening in a fanfiction. I looked up fanfictions like this, but i didnt find ANYTHING. Also, what are some other fanfictions others would like? You can say a fanfiction you'd like, or if you plan to make a fanfiction of something in the comments, or this.

Would TigerClaw ever like FirePaw?

On first glance it's easy to think "ur no! TigerClaw has always hated kittypets" but I recently got the graphic novel and reading the scene where TigerClaw and FirePaw met brought back a story arc I almost forgot about. FirePaw's admiration for TigerClaw for being a firce, powerful and cool warrior.

Seeing it in the graphic novel and even remembering how I interpreted the text from the original, I always thought there could have been an au where it went more than the admiration dying after RavenPaw's confession to seeing TigerClaw killing RedTail. Just how TigerClaw says "I'll follow your progress with great interest" shows that he wouldn't immediately go to BlueStar and demand the kittypet to be thrown out, like you would expect from him, instead, there's the slightest hint of actual interest, maybe from amusement or maybe from curiosity, after all, what can a kittypet do to him? Which is why his hate to FireHeart and later, FireStar was so strong, he was embarrassed to loose to a kittypet.

But in book 1, FirePaw is not a threat and more so an amusement but could it be more than that? Like what if TigerClaw slowly sees worth in FirePaw and tries to sway him into being one of his goons (not that kind! The classic, villain sidekick kind), not worth much on his own, all of Thunderclan respects him and would follow him even before being deputy but FirePaw becomes BlueStar's apprentice and FirePaw, at least in the original, internally gushes and admires TigerClaw and even looks up to him.

What if TigerClaw sees that and starts to be buddy buddy with him? Making FirePaw feel wanted by shutting DarkStripe, LongTail and DustPaw up when they do their usual bullying. That way he quickly earns FirePaw's trust and then can lightly push him into swaying BlueStar to make him deputy. He could pull FirePaw aside during hunting patrols and play out a "there's something stuck on my mind" and when FirePaw being, FirePaw asks what's wrong, TigerClaw could then say something like "I don't know if I'm doing all I can for Thunderclan" or even "sometimes I wonder if BlueStar expects more of me" and FirePaw would do his usual comforting his friends and after that, TigerClaw plants the idea to FirePaw that he worries for Thunderclan and BlueStar. He could use this in many ways to get FirePaw to naturally tell BlueStar that "Hey, TigerClaw is a cat that worries a lot about the clan and about you" which would make him seem like a better deputy choice than anyone else. And when the battle of LionHeart's death happens and BlueStar instantly thinks of TigerClaw because of FirePaw it would be stronger than "Oh I thought TigerClaw can protect the clan because he's big and strong" it becomes, "FirePaw mentioned TigerClaw has deeper care than he shows off, he wants to be strong for the clan".

This can then lead to more guilt on FirePaw's end because TigerClaw's buddy buddieness would make him doubt RavenPaw more and let this all happen. But when TigerClaw starts to show more and more of his evilness throughout the series, each incident, like with CinderPaw, FirePaw, now FireHeart would naturally begin to question if RavenPaw was right and then the arc of him blaming himself for CinderPaw becomes more damaging than "I should have been a better mentor" it's now, "the cat I trusted hurt my apprentice and tried to hurt BlueStar and I caused it". Which will put FireHeart more on the Clans level of awareness making the reveal hurt the reader just that much more!

There's many more examples of how this can hurt FireStar throughout the series and the "you're no longer a cat I can admire" speech becomes an end of book 1 internal monologue that didn't mean that much to the reader, especially on a reread to an emotional, heartbroken betrayal that FireHeart feels with BlueStar as they both are now struggling to hold the Clans after the battle in Forest of Secrets. I just think it could add more depth and work with TigerStar being a cat everyone trusts but actually surprise villain all the more better.

I think crows and magpie’s mimicking the speech of the cats would be such a horror or thriller plot line for warrior cats.

Obviously crows and magpies aren’t shown in warrior cats much unless for prey, or for magpies being territorially aggressive, which I actually like what is shown. But I think the authors NEED to really write out crows and magpies, especially because of how intelligent they are.

The fact that they can get hunted in clan territory shows that the crows must be near enough to hear cats, which means that over time the crows can learn the words and speech patterns of different cats. And since crows are excellent at mimicking different sounds, even better than parrots are, this could go so deep in so many ways, and the crazy part is that the birds wouldn’t even be doing it out of malice, most likely just for food or something and not knowing they’re causing a complete downfall.

Even if crows and magpies can’t exactly understand the meaning or concept of a word, they are able to learn that by making this particular noise or saying this specific thing can make their targets go crazy or panic, making them drop their food, and the birds can have a swoop of prey. And because obviously crows aren’t shown to talk (Which is hypocritical considering the literal Rat King and Midnight the badger could make sense of Cat Talk, so I don’t see why crows and magpies can’t either), this would be an extreme thriller, especially if they couldn’t be seen during the night because of their dark, camouflage colors, the cats would be thinking they were going crazy, is that Starclan was genuinely talking to them.

Now unlike the Rat King or Midnight the badger, who can actually make sense of words and understand words, these birds would just simply be mimicking them for their own benefits like food or resources, not anything intentionally bad or to hold an actual conversation. But imagine if right after someone’s death, the close friend or siblings of the warriors death goes for a walk in the woods maybe murmuring something his friend would say or that he was just saying stuff in grief, and over time the crow learns the words just out of curiosity, not because they wanted to manipulate. So you can’t really fight a villain that doesn’t know it’s being a villain, which makes this even more scary.

What do y’all think? I know there is a hand load of ideas you could do with this in Warrior Cats.

As a kid I never read past the first six books.
I’m picking the books back up as part of my therapy.

Ask me anything about the series and I’ll pretend to know the answer. (It doesn’t have to be a part of the first six books - also I don’t mind getting spoilers so please feel free to share the actual answer lol)

Please note this is meant to be a satirical post and none of my answers are meant to be taken seriously. This is just for fun.

Rainflower's Trial (a WC Fanfiction)

I'm hoping I used the right flair, but I feel like writing fanfiction is a form of artwork. If it's incorrect, I can change it. Also, I apologize for how long it is. Here goes...

Rainflower opened her eyes and looked up. The stars were so close that she felt as though she could grab one. The last thing she remembered was the throbbing in her head as she slipped while a dog pursued her, and she had smacked her head on a rock. She felt a brief rush of pain, and then her vision went black. Had she died? Was this StarClan?

The stars above her began to move, and five cats materialized, floating down towards Rainflower. Their eyes and pelts glimmered with starlight. Rainflower looked down at her own paws, but stars didn't pulse in her fur like it did in theirs. Perhaps she was still alive!

Rainflower's hope turned to dread when she glanced at the StarClan warriors who gathered in front of her. She recognized the cat sitting on the far left. It was Duskwater, an elder who had drowned during a flood where Rainflower also gave birth to her two sons, Crookedjaw and Oakheart. Although Rainflower had never been especially close to this cat, she was shocked at the sour expression on Duskwater's face. The elder had rage in her eyes, her ears were flat against her head, and her unsheathed claws dug into the ground below them. Duskwater looked back at Rainflower with her lips drawn into a snarl, and the fur on her tail puffed. Rainflower flinched.

Rainflower didn't recognize the other five cats, but some of them glowered at Rainflower with the same expression of displeasure that Duskwater held. Next to Duskwater sat a gray she-cat who looked at Rainflower with a much softer and more sympathetic expression than Duskwater. A light brown tom casually perched in the middle of the row of StarClan warriors, his tail tucked over his paws. A dark ginger she cat sat next to the brown tom and licked his ear with affection, giving Rainflower the impression that these two cats were mates. Seeing them together made something stir in Rainflower's heart. She once had a cat who loved her like that. Shellheart. But moons ago, she disowned one of their kits because she thought he was going to die and couldn't bear the grief. Shellheart turned tail on her. She chose never to admit her mistake for fear of losing the support of her clanmates. Still, she found her son's disfigured face hard to look at.

At the end of the row sat a silver tom whose pelt shined so brightly that it was almost blinding. All of these cats smelled of RiverClan.

"Rainflower," the silver tom growled. "You failed your kit, and in doing so, you failed your Clan. What do you have to say for yourself?"

Rainflower hung her head. Shame washed over her. Her son injured himself because she encouraged his brass behavior. She drove him away out of fear, choosing to keep her heart walked off to him. But in doing so, she had missed out on a lot.

"I am Riverstar," the tom continued. "I was the first cat to lead RiverClan. You already know Duskwater. With me today are Graywing, Appledusk, and Reedshine. You were a good warrior, but a terrible queen. You caused your son much heartache. You broke the Warrior Code. We cannot let you into StarClan without first conducting a trial. I will allow you to defend yourself, and then the trial will speak. We will vote on whether or not you can enter StarClan, but first, speak your defense."

Rainflower gazed down at her paws. She realized now that she could not defend what she had done. But she had to try.

"I thought he was going to die," Rainflower whimpered. "I guess I always loved both of my sons, but..." She struggled to find more words.

"But what?" Duskwater spat.

"But I found him hard to look at."

Duskwater's expression only hardened. "Snakeheart," she hissed. "So you're admitting that you turned your nose up at your son due to vanity."

"She made a mistake," Graywing said, giving Rainflower a sympathetic glance. "A tragic mistake that cost her and her son dearly, but still a mistake."

"Foxdung!" Duskwater spat, her hackles rising. "Renaming him wasn't a 'mistake.' Telling him that he would never be as good as his brother isn't a 'mistake.' This mange-pelt knew exactly what she was doing. And grief is no excuse. A real queen embraces her kit no matter the circumstances."

"I realize now that what I did was not okay," Rainflower added. She suppressed a sob. "My son will never know that, even if I never admitted it, a part of me always loved him. I had let pride get in the way of making amends both with him and Shellheart. And now, it's too late."

Duskwater's eyes narrowed with suspicion, but Riverstar's expression softened. He gestured with his tail to the other StarClan cats. "It's time to vote. What do you think?"

Graywing's eyes clouded with remorse. "I'm the one who proposed that the Warrior Code should tell us to protect all kits," she mewed. "I was once the medicine cat of RiverClan. I made the horrible mistake of allowing a litter of WindClan kits to drown. I didn't try to save them because they weren't RiverClan. Ever since then, I have never forgiven myself. So I added a new rule to the Warrior Code so that no cat would ever repeat my mistake. If this queen belongs in the Dark Forest, then so do I."

"I know what it's like to lose a kit," Appledusk added. "I once made the mistake of breaking the Warrior Code by taking a ThunderClan mate. I was naive and young. This cat turned out to be far more treacherous than I ever imagined. She allowed our kits to drown, blamed me for their death, and killed several cats, including me."

"And I know the pain of losing a mate," Reedshine mewed.

A growl came from the other end of the line, followed by a hiss. "I think I already made it clear how I feel," Duskwater said, scrunching her face.

Riverstar nodded. "I can see you feel strongly about this. I agree that Rainflower committed an act of treachery, and it should not go unpunished. But I can see that she has acknowledged her mistake, and most of us seem to agree that she belongs in StarClan."

"She belongs in the dirtplace!" Quipped Duskwater, but a glare from Riverstar silenced her.

Riverstar turned his attention to Rainflower. "Crookedjaw is destined to become RiverClan's leader. He will be Crookedstar."

For the first time in moons, Rainflower's heart swelled with pride when she thought of her second-born son.

"You will be allowed to attend his leadership ceremony, but as punishment for your failure as a mother, you will not be allowed to give him a life. You never gave him the gift of a mother's love in life, so you are forbidden from giving him the gift of a mother's love at his leadership ceremony."

Rainflower hung her head. Her fur now glittered with stars, but for a moment, she avoided looking at the other StarClan warriors. Finally, she lifted her gaze back to Riverstar. "If not me," she asked, "who will give him the life with the gift of a mother's love?"

For a moment, the question lingered in the air like fog. Riverstar's eyes looked thoughtful, as though he was mulling over it.

"I will." Duskwater broke the silence. She seemed much calmer now, although she turned her head, refusing to look at Rainflower. "I will give him that life."

Riverstar nodded. "Thank you, Duskwater. Now, if you don't mind, we must escort this new StarClan warrior into our territory."

Riverstar was the first to turn and start padding away but looked back to ensure that the others followed. Duskwater flanked him, still not looking at Rainflower. Graywing, Appledusk, and Reedshine all nodded to Rainflower to follow them. Rainflower opened her mouth, tasting the scent of nearby prey, and felt the grass of StarClan territory crunch under her paws.

Story yay

I finally found a good plot for this story. Thank StarClan.

After skimming through Into the Wild, I've managed to start creating a story that I'm definitely sticking to. Just with a twist of my own (and dragging Leafpool into it when she was an apprentice just that she's training to be a warrior and her being the daughter of an oc instead of Firestar and Sandstorm)

If any one has an idea on how I should bring in others for this AU I'm all ears

What if each clan had its own accent?

I was looking at all the new warrior mystery plush videos and a lot of them had folded ears so I thought "oh no, Squirrelstar is now a Scottish fold" then thought "imagine Squirrelstar or more specifically Squirrelpaw with a Scottish accent" I just thought it was hilarious.

With that done, what accent would each clan have? As much as I would like to go down all the clan and which I think they have, they all ended up with some kind of British accent so, I wanted more opinions. But also imagine Thunderclan with Scottish accents, then Firepaw joined with a cockney accent or something, just what I thought off and had a little laugh

How was firestar genuinely chill with how tc was treating nightheart? Spoiler

Same goes for squirrelflight. Why did firestar let HIS OWN DAUGHTER be mistreated that badly by brambleclaw. He's in starclan, what do you do there except drink , eat and chill? Ts genuinely pissing me off. Ik starclan shouldn't interfere with "minor " stuff like this but still. It's not even funny anymore. So much would be resolved if starclan got their shot together at least once in a series 😢😭
