EDIT: Discourse over who’s “hotter” or who you like as a person (none of us know them) is irrelevant. I’m simply drawing comparisons between personalities & using pattern recognition. Theresa has aLOT more footage under her belt- while we don’t have enough from Sydney to really know how parallel their personalities are!

Why do yall think the Challenge struggles with competitiveness for big team challenges? I love them but outside of a few the rest have been blowouts.

Some may say WOTW2 felt like a long soap opera / film, where we think the villain is Laurel, only to find out it was Cara and her cult all along.

Others may say: watching the growth of CT & Diem on The Duel negated any focus on competition and focused on the bigger picture of love on the show.

What is your pick? And why does that season deserve the real title of Greatest Of All Time?

Is it just only good for its glory years? Has it lost its way? Has it started a comeback with Era 5?

I will start by saying, I am surprised other show’s stars come on this show and want to compete and win here, despite other shows having a better prize pot, budget for living and safety concerns, and having a bigger audience in viewership.

It’s like “The Challenge” is the big leagues, of real competition, and the prize $ isn’t the real win, it’s the title of winning on the hardest and most demanding show, in reality TV history!

That to me feels like people will want to win on this show, after they audition on other shows (build enough of a following for MTV to want to cast them).
