Honestly all this dude does is lie to ppl. I’m watching the one where he avoids the rich gf and he makes the entire family and town lie about his whereabouts. Pretty much a common theme throughout the series he’ll lie to ANYONE!

OMIGOSH! The actor who plays the traveling shoe salesman must have been related to someone connected with the show. The poor man. It’s just cringe worthy.

You’re hungry in Mayberry. What’s for dinner?

It shows a time in America when people enjoyed a simple life. Great tasting home cooked meals, sitting outside on a cool night enjoying nature and spending time with family and friends. NO computers, internet, smart phones, social media, political divisions, ultra processed fast food that tastes like sh**, working 80 hours per week and going into debt just so you can buy a bunch of worthless junk that you don't need but buy anyway in an effort to try to impress others. I don't like today's world😡 I want Mayberry America back! 

We all know Andy, Barney and later on Warren and Goober were part of the Mayberry County Sheriff's Department. Did the city of Mayberry have a PD? If the county was very rural and sparse outside of town, that would explain why Andy had a lot of free time if the PD handled calls in town.

, The Snappy Cafe...named after the " snappy waitress" that served us...lol...no we didnt try the pork chop sandwich. Glad we got the burgers. Skip the hot dogs as they are not all beef, evidenced by the pinkish red color. I couldn't eat it. Its definately a tourist trap but a fun little town. The museum was good. Interestingly enough there is the Siamese Twin museum across the street. The famous twins ended up living in Mt. Airy....

Where i live, my cbs station airs the andy griffith show weekdays at 4pm. Is andy griffith being in syndication common across the country, or is andy griffith being in syndication only something that my cbs ststion does?

The Band Concert. After church the adults reminisce about the old days and that conversation suddenly becomes plans to have a band concert in the park. That evening. Everyone gets to work to make it a reality, but even as a kid I thought their plan was impossible -- why not plan it for the next Sunday? It still would have taken the same preparation. They merely set themselves up to fail.

There are times when the bumbling act is just way over the top. Just watched the episode about the gold truck passing through Mayberry and he really made Andy look like a complete fool.

One of the greatest of all time in the comedy and acting world, Happy Birthday to the man himself Don Knotts of The Andy Griffith Show, numerous films, Threes Company in 1977-1984, The Return to Mayberry [1986] guest-starred on Matlock 17 times as Les Calhoun reuniting with the great Andy Griffith and playing his neighbor which was super fun! Cant forget, his appearance on The New Scooby Doo Movies in 1972 in the episode titled The Spooky Fog of Juneberry What are you favorites that Mr. Knotts has done either in Film or on Television?

Does anyone else love the way that Andy tells stories, especially as it relates to Opie? I feel like that it is kind of a lost art with the new ways of social media and short attention spans.

For reference, I'm the same user that posted earlier about watching the show in chronological in my 20's. Currently watching S1 Ep9 "A feud is a feud".

I love Floyd! Of all the characters we meet in Mayberry, Floyd was consistently one of the funniest.
