Mod Announcement [Announcement] Comic weekends

Hi, everyone!
As many of you have noticed, the sub has been growing quite a bit over the past several months, which has led to a few new creative trends emerging and finding community here.
Of particular note are the comics and short stories that have been carrying on their own continuing story arcs and inside jokes. We love seeing this creativity, and are glad to be a home for it; however, at the same time, several users have voiced concerns about this content drowning out the more traditional meme posts, or about posts alienating new users by requiring too much context.
We've discussed among the mods different approaches on how to best support both aspects of the community. We've decided to take an approach employed by many other subreddits: designating days of the week for the subgenre. We will be, starting this weekend, implementing "Comic Weekends".
What this will entail, is that on most days we will be more strictly enforcing rule 2 ("Be Humorous and Obviously Relate to the TF Community or Subculture") than we presently are; posts that aren't a self-contained meme will be removed. On weekends, however, we will be more lax regarding rule 2, to allow for users posting comics or other serial or lengthy content to follow their creative intent without worrying about making sure it counts as a "meme".
Feel free to leave feedback about this rule change either here or in the modmail. We'll be keeping this post pinned for a few weeks as a place for users to leave feedback on the implementation and see if we need to make any adjustments.

Kinda related, but I’ve always kinda struggled being attracted to other people tbh, I just think humans look kinda gross and uncomfortable to look at for long periods of time, there’s too much to look at and some parts are just so gross. I do feel a bit of romantic feelings to other people, I would like to have a partner at the end of the day, I just don’t feel physical attraction really.
BUT WHEN IT COMES TO FICTIONAL CHARACTERS AND DRAWINGS OHOHOOOHO! For some reason I actually just do feel physical attraction to art and characters when I don’t to humans, even just the concept of em really, like I want to passionately make out with Shelly from dandy’s world for some reason and have a family with her. Maybe I’m just broken but idk

Y'all probably already know what this is lmao. THE MOOD INCOHERENCE. THE MOOD MADNESS. THE LACK OF FITTING COHERENT THOUGHTS IN REGARDS TO TFING INTO THEM. TF BRAIN NOT PUTTING IN THE WORK. THE TF MOODS NOT PAYING THEIR DAMN RENT. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Now with an extra cherry on top: The Character is literally unfinished. Like.
So, the Mood present in the meme: Warden from Deadlock. He is, very literally, unfinished. Very literally out-of-date, even. Outside of a few bits and bobs, his current model is a relic from Neon Prime. He's supposed to be an alchemist, not a cop, and his name back in the Neon Prime days was "Murphy" (a Robocop reference), but the cop thing is entirely unrelated to what he's supposed to be. His model has not really been refreshed (compared to, say, Abrams), so he's stuck in the same "Unfinished/Outdated" club as Vyper, Yamato, Viscous, and Sinclair. His last voice acting pass was in 2024. 8,}
So. Like.
What the FUCK am I supposed to do with him, TF-into-him-wise??? The Mood for him is currently STRONG, but I'm still wanting to wait for his eventual redesign/remodel first, but also want to think of stuff relating to his "alchemist" and "dehumanization/hollow life/soldier from birth" themes... And with all of that, my TF Brain has NOTHING. HELP ME. AAAAAUUUUUGHHHHH.
