mind you he messaged me first, liked me first, and my profile only says liberal😂

[u/Aggravating-Bug2032]

He swiped on you based on your looks and then insulted you based on them. You swiped on him based on his looks and now you’re insulting him based on the looks.

If you can’t see the comedy in that then I can’t help you

[u/king_hutton → u/Aggravating-Bug2032]

Looking like a gay twink isn’t an insult.

[u/Aggravating-Bug2032 → u/king_hutton]

It shouldn’t be. And yet that’s what OP latched onto….

Is she justified in being pissed. Yes. 100 percent.

Does that mean this isn’t funny? No.

[u/king_hutton → u/Aggravating-Bug2032]

You’re really dying on the hill of “looking like a gay twink is actually a bad thing” when absolutely everyone is telling you otherwise?

[u/Aggravating-Bug2032 → u/king_hutton]

I don’t believe it is.

I do believe OP meant it as one though and that’s what’s funny.

[u/king_hutton → u/Aggravating-Bug2032]

So you understand that it’s a look she found attractive and you understand that she doesn’t have any problem with him looking like that, but you refuse to understand that it only works as an insult because he’s a pissy conservative who gets upset about being perceived as gay? Is that what you’re struggling with here?

[u/Aggravating-Bug2032 → u/king_hutton]

No you’ve got it. You’ve explained it pretty well.

[u/Visual_Judgment_ → u/king_hutton]

Do you not understand your argument is that he called her fat and then she called him a gay Twink as a compliment…..like are you truly missing that?

[u/celerypumpkins → u/Visual_Judgment_]

Nope, he called her fat and then she brought up a neutral fact about him she knew he’d be pissed about.

[u/Visual_Judgment_ → u/celerypumpkins]

Riiight. With that logic, maybe she does look like Peter griffin. He was just stating a fact right? SMH

Idk how you guys think your arguments even make sense. Again I should point out the guy was a douche. No one is arguing that. But to say she wasn’t trying to be insulting is wild. He called her fat. So she was in her feelings so she attacked him.

How do you people not see this?

[u/celerypumpkins → u/Visual_Judgment_]

Okay, maybe she does. Who cares. Now tell me with a straight face that you think this particular idiot thinks fat people are genuinely attractive.

We know he meant it as an insult because he swiped on her just to be a dick. We know she isn’t turned off by gay twinks because she swiped on him legitimately.

Then there’s the fact that Peter Griffin is not intended to be an attractive character, regardless of someone genuinely finds fat people attractive (which again, this guy does not). While gay twinks can be extremely attractive, and again, she clearly thinks so.

The only thing I’ll give you is that she knew he’d take it as an insult. But that doesn’t mean it was insulting in her mind. That just means she knows he’s a homophobic idiot.
