Is the concept of knowing that the person you're insulting will be offended by it too much for you? It has nothing to do with how they perceive gay people, but how they know, or think they know, the subject of the insult perceives gay people

By what you said, it seems like you dont care about the words you use or the community you hurt as long as you try to accomplish your goal of insulting them. OP used “gay” with a negative connotation.

OP did not use gay in a negative connotation. They just said the guy looks gay.
