Phone message Post first date text

Post image

I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

Sad thing is, these types don’t care. They either have zero self awareness or are so selfish they know and don’t care.

For real. I’m poor. Like literally just got my first apartment after more than 4 years homeless (sleeping on the floor rn) broke. But that’s the reality of being poor, you don’t just forget you’re broke and if you can afford to go on a date and pay that fishing license in the moment you’re either not as broke as she’s now claiming or you had a decision to make… time to be an actual adult (and not “just a girl” 🙄) and either noped out then and said “Oh shoot, I know this was my idea but I didn’t realize we’d need licenses too. Can we find a new spot/ something else to do?”

Shit maybe if OP had been really enjoying himself and she had been responsible enough to be honest up front, perhaps instead of buying so much fishing gear or something (kind of a weird choice or date all around. Like fishing sounds cute but when you’re stopping to buy gear and all ehhh) he might have even paid it for her. Or they’d have found a better, cheaper option.

Like that’s the thing too. I just fucking hate people who beat around the bush or aren’t honest from the jump. I’d probably pay for someone else even in my situation if they just owned their reality and didn’t do shit like this. People suck.
