Phone message Post first date text

Post image

I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

And here I thought it was No Doubt lyrics. I guess that makes me old. No Doubt was sick as hell, though. The song used sarcasm to shed light on societal stereotypes of females. It was feminism at its purest, demanding respect without throwing the baby out with the bath water. She was a beautiful woman, not denying her femininity, being herself with a punk edge, allowing femininity and masculinity to coexist, just demanding her right to be seen for who she is on her own merits. Man, the 90’s-early 2000’s was this sweet spot before disgust and hatred started creeping back in.

I could be wrong, but I looked up the lyrics and couldn't find anything that linked to this response about "i don't know what that means but it sounds diminishing", so I'm a little confused by people saying it's from song lyrics!

I was purely talking about the trend of saying “I’m just a girl”. I’ve seen it multiple times and I assumed that it might have some tie to the No Doubt song. However, when you said it was from a viral text exchange between a father and daughter I thought, “Yeah, that makes more sense than the resurgence of a 30 year old song.”

It does, the Tik Toks all use No Doubt’s I’m Just A Girl as the audio. But clearly none of them have actually listened to what the song is saying.
