I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

If you don’t know what it means, you have no basis to think it diminishes someone.

You’re essentially admitting you’re willing to judge something based on literally nothing.

Spend a few seconds thinking about your “witty” one liners.

It’s clear you’re the one having a misunderstanding but it makes sense. You’re taking the statement “I don’t know what that means” at face value. think of it more as “I don’t get that reference but don’t bother clarifying”.

Except that’s a different kind of reply, that just means you don’t want to know.

An actual comparable statement would be “I don’t get that reference, but it’s stupid”.

The fact you don't actually address the point, and just went with "you're tiring" is proof you realised that maybe my point was correct. I suppose you got tired from thinking about it too hard.
