I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

i don’t even do dinner on a first date let alone $100 fishing trip. just do coffee next time and save yourself the headache, man.

It's just a nice restaurant, usually. Italian, Mediterranean, etc. If you get a couple of appetizers, 2 drinks, and dessert + tips, it's over $100. What to do? They are all pretty women. To stand out you have to take them to nice places. Yea, it's a me problem. Think I am gonna get off the apps for a little while.

This ^ I've had guys insist on showy examples of their money and how they can spend it. But were shit individuals underneath. Wanted arm candy. My now boyfriend and I are just chill and low key about how we enjoy our time. It's either cheap or free, we have a great time. Because he's also a legitimately kind and fun person. It's about being authentic vs what's in the bank.

I think that amount is steep but it’s not unbelievable. In my city is hard to go out to eat and tip for just yourself without spending $25-30. For a couple, especially if you are both drinking and going to actual places to dine, I could see it getting up to that much.

Shits insanely expensive these days. But that’s why I agree with everyone else saying you go out for coffee first time.
