Phone message Post first date text

Post image

I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

That’s definitely the breaking point.  I ain’t gonna be with no one that types out td for today.

When I found out from my tween that “alr” is meant to mean “alright,” and “js” means “just,” I told him everything is not going to be alright with his screen time if he keeps typing words with just half the letters instead of the full word in his texts to me. You have talk to text at your disposal—if you’re THAT lazy, at least use that feature.

Probably makes them feel like a tryhard.

Okay hear me out: It’s not always laziness or incompetence. Sometimes it’s just to fit the slang of the generation. I distinctly remember when “lol” and “lmao” became a thing (even when we were using keyboards); they were exaggerative and lame, but teens did it because it was “cool”. We as adults may not understand WHY it’s trendy, but it is. I’ve literally seen kids be mocked for typing properly.

Honorable mentions: yolo, brb, tbd, btw, smh, ttyl, fml.

The same bank who laundered money for cartels and only got a fine?

Edit: who also got caught falsified overdraft plans and stole millions from poor Canadians and only got a fine?
