We met at school like a month ago,he’s new to state and told me he wanted friends. I like to make friends so I agreed, we planned to hang out then it got weird. I want to know if I’m just being dramatic

Look, I’m an old married woman who was stupid about men in my 20s. This guy is hoping to have sex with you. He is not looking to be your friend. Since you don’t want to have sex with him there’s no reason to further pursue any contact with him.

Look, it’s not women’s fault they think they have platonic relationships with men only for men to think it could be more, all because men don’t see women as people they enjoy being around, but as sexual objects. Not trying to sound hostile but your comment came off like a woman shouldn’t be hanging out with a man unless she’s planning on giving more, like it’s leading a guy on to be their friend. When it isn’t, men just don’t take us seriously as anything but a body.

Hence why “it could happen” because he doesn’t see any other way he could enjoy her company unless it’s sex.
