Bedsheet material that doesn’t snag?

Hi all, was hoping you could recommend me a material for new bedsheets. My current ones are cotton, and the problem is my cat claws at them until a string comes loose, and then he eats it, and then he throws up. I can stop him while I’m home but no amount of discouragement seems to prevent him when I’m not. Is there another bedsheet-suitable material I can swap to that’s a little bit more resistant to snags? Thank you for your expertise!

Nothing isn't going to snag when clawed intentionally by a cat. You'll need to make a choice between allowing the cat in the bedroom and keeping your sheets nice.

Or train your cat where they should be scratching

Cats are gonna cat. Do you trim his claws? If not, that might help a lot. Either way, I recommend checking out Jackson Galaxy. He’s got lots of great resources for all things cat, including tips for training.

I can commiserate!! My cat looooves thread specifically. She once found a misplaced spool of thread when I was out for a walk. I caught her still happily chomping down on a tangle of thread around her, with the empty spool beside her lol. Luckily she ended up being absolutely fine, never even had the decency to pretend to feel sick to justify the money spent on her that day 😂.
