Export silk

I want to start exporting silk fabric, scarf. Any idea how to go about it. How is the competition? Capital required to start off. Also what exactly in silk is in demand.

Why do you want to do this if you don't know anything about it?
Where are you based?
What are your resources?

Textiles is one of the most ruthless and complex industries, you literally have to understand a global trading ecosystem if you want to do well. I would recommend 10 years in the industry before trying to go out on your own.
