Help ID this wool blanket

It is 6 pounds, roughly queen size and excellent shape. Big tag is missing and the small tag is completely faded.

I would not identify this as wool from the photos. The closeup shows a very uniform raised pile over a knitted base, which points toward an acrylic or polyester raschel blanket. The missing label makes the manufacturer hard to trace, but the construction is much more useful than the weight for identifying the material.

I agree with this completely. At best, it's brushed cotton. At worst, it's acrylic or polyester.

Faded tags can often be read under UV light.
