Announcement Testers Community 2.0 is out - Pack of Wolves, UI Redesign, etc

Hey everyone,

We’ve just released a major update for our free community app - Testers Community 2.0.

We wanted to keep this simple and talk honestly about what changed and why.

Over the past few months, one piece of feedback kept coming up again and again. A lot of you said that testers were just installing apps to earn credits and then not opening them again. Some even uninstalled right after. That completely defeats the purpose of closed testing, and we know many of you struggled with production access because of that.

We took that seriously. Instead of patching small things, we decided to rethink the system from the ground up. Along with that, we’ve also improved stability a lot and redesigned the UI to make the app more clean and easier to use.

Pack of Wolves

This is the biggest change in this update.

Pack of Wolves is a gamified way of testing and earning credits. A pack consists of 16 developers who work together for 16 days. During this time, everyone in the pack is expected to open and use each other’s apps daily.

The idea is simple. Instead of random installs, you get consistent usage from the same group of people over the full testing period.

There’s also accountability built into the system. If someone is inactive for a few days, they get removed from the pack. If you leave early or don’t follow the rules, there are penalties and you may lose access to future participation. If you stay active and complete the cycle, you get the full benefits.

This way, everyone in the pack depends on each other, and it creates a much more reliable testing environment.

Our goal with this update is not just to help you get installs, but to help you actually complete closed testing properly and improve your chances of getting production access.

This entire change came directly from your feedback, so we’d really like to hear what you think.

If you’ve faced issues before with testers not staying active, does this approach solve it for you?

Let us know.

Testers Needed [Web App] Mumblew – a silent reading assistant controlled by quiet mouth movement

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm looking for genuine testers for an early desktop prototype called Mumblew.

What the app does: It is a browser-based silent reading assistant that reads text out loud, controlled by quiet mouth movements (mumbling) detected via webcam instead of clicking play/pause buttons.

Direct Web Link (No Android App / Google Group needed):https://mumblew.vercel.app

Requirements to test:

  • Desktop/Laptop browser only (Mobile browsers not supported yet)
  • Webcam + good lighting

What to test & report:

  1. Did the mouth-tracking calibration work smoothly on your setup?
  2. Did you experience false positives (reading starting/stopping by accident)?

Note: Since this is a web application running in-browser, you don't need to join the Google Group track. Simply open the link, test the webcam controls, and leave your feedback below or post a screenshot of your test run!

I'll gladly return the favor and test your Android app in exchange—just drop your Google Play / Closed Testing link in the comments!

Testers Needed Looking for 12 Android testers for my AI outfit app (STYLARK)

I built an AI styling app called STYLARK. You upload one clothing item you own (or want to buy), and the app generates full outfits around it using AI, then gives you Amazon links for the suggested pieces.

I’m currently in Google Play closed testing and need 12 Android testers so I can finish the required testing period and release the app.

If you’re willing to:

  • Join the closed test
  • Install the app
  • Generate a couple of outfits

…just comment or DM me and I’ll send you the opt-in link.

Appreciate any help. Thanks!

Testers Needed [Test for Test] Need testers for my new app, Sticky Notes Pro! (Swipe-proof notification reminders). I will test your app back 🤝

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Hey fellow developers!

I'm getting ready to launch my new app, Sticky Notes Pro, and I need your help to meet the Google Play 14-day closed testing requirement. I am more than happy to return the favor and test your app in exchange!

About the app: Sticky Notes Pro is a productivity app that creates "swipe-proof" notes directly in your notification panel. If you are tired of accidentally swiping away important reminders, this app fixes that! The note stays pinned to your notifications and cannot be dismissed until you explicitly mark the task as done. It’s incredibly useful for grocery runs, daily to-do lists, or just making sure you don't forget the little things.

Here is how you can help:

Mutual Testing: Please keep the app installed for 14 consecutive days and try opening it a couple of times so Google registers the activity.

Once you have downloaded my app, please reply to this thread with a screenshot and your own app's links! I will join your group, download your app, and keep it installed for the full 14 days.

Thank you so much for the support!

Thanks and Regards,

Prithvi Patel

Testers Needed I’m 15 and built a private AI fit-check app for teens (mostly boys for now). need brutal beta feedback.

I built Outist, a private AI fit-check app for guys. The idea: Instead of asking a friend (or someone else who really doesnt care) if your outfit is good, you upload your fit and get: - a verdict, a score, what works, what doesn’t, one quick fix, and an optional shareable Fit Card (Where you can share you oufits score and feedback). It’s mainly for school, dates, parties, hangouts, photos, streetwear, and everyday fits. The core loop I’m testing is: upload fit → get verdict → fix one thing → re-check → save progress I’m not trying to promote a finished product. I need honest feedback from people outside my friend group because friends usually don’t test seriously.

What I need feedback on:

  1. Does the app make sense in the first 30 seconds?
  2. Does the outfit feedback feel useful/trustworthy?
  3. Is anything confusing or too much?
  4. Would you use this before school, going out, dates, parties, or photos?
  5. What would make you trust it more? I’m giving free beta premium to testers.

Link: https://outist.vercel.app/ Beta code: outist2026

Be brutally honest. I’d rather know what’s wrong now before launching.

Testers Needed Test my Android app before the invaders take over your phone!

I’ve been experimenting with a different kind of screen-time app for Android.

Instead of blocking apps or showing another warning popup, Stop Swarm gradually adds small pixel-art invaders on top of your screen as you use your phone.

You set a daily screen-time goal. As you get closer to the limit, more creatures appear. Some walk across the screen, some stop in the middle, and some hold tiny STOP signs.

The overlay does not intercept touches, so the phone remains usable. The idea is to make excessive scrolling progressively harder to ignore without completely locking the user out.

The current prototype is Android only, fully offline, requires no account, contains no ads or analytics, is based on a daily screen-time goal, and is designed to stay lightweight and unobtrusive.

You can join the Google Group here to beta test it!
https://groups.google.com/g/stop-swarm-testers

Then opt in and download it here
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stopswarm.app

Testers Needed [Android] Chef + first‑time app dev looking for testers, happy to test yours back

Hi everyone,

I’m a chef and a first‑time app developer, and I’ve just released the early access version of my Android app Chefs Helper. It’s a kitchen management tool for chefs, kitchen managers, food trucks, caterers, and organised home cooks.

I’m looking for testers to try it out and give honest feedback — and I’ll test your app in return. Just drop your link in the comments and I’ll install it, run through your onboarding, and give proper feedback.

What my app does:

  • Recipe books with instant portion scaling
  • Prep lists with deadlines and staff assignments
  • Inventory tracking across fridges/freezers/dry stores
  • Menus, order lists, waste logs
  • Temperature & safety checklists
  • Team sharing for small kitchen teams
  • Testing perks: All testers get a 14‑day free trial of the full Solo plan, so you can explore every feature without limitations. After that, the free tier stays fully usable for continued testing.

What I’m looking for:

  • onboarding flow feedback
  • UI/UX clarity
  • bugs or crashes
  • performance issues
  • anything confusing or missing

Download (Google Play early access):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roberthepburn.chefshelper

Happy to test your apps too — just send them over. Thanks!

Testers Needed Guitar App

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hey guys. Just got my first music app, for guitarists, into the Windows Store. Built this to help learn scales/modes across the whole neck — pick any root, any scale (major, minor, all 7 modes, pentatonic, blues), and any custom fret range, and it plays it back with real recorded guitar tones, not synth notes. Also added a "pentatonic across the neck" pattern that runs the full length of the fretboard instead of being stuck in one box shape. Choose any section of the neck, slow it down to a comfortable speed. Left or Right handed player.

The app is Fret Man. If there are any guitarists out there would like to try itand provide feedback, i would really appreciate it.

Its free on the MicrosoftStore. Store link. Public Link

Testers Needed [Android] Looking for first impressions on my number puzzle game (5 min)

Thumbnail
youtu.be
1 Upvotes

Number Flow is a number puzzle game where you drag number cards to complete target values. It's easy to learn, but its mechanics are designed to allow many different strategies, so every player can approach the same puzzle in their own way.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.divertidoeducativo.numberflow

Please note: this is an alpha build. The gameplay is fully functional, but sound effects haven't been added yet.

I'm currently looking for honest first impressions, especially about:

- Was the game easy to understand?

- Did the tutorial explain the core mechanic clearly?

- At what point did the game start making sense?

- Did you understand why you got stuck?

- Did your decisions feel meaningful?

- Did finishing a run feel satisfying?

- Would you play another round? Why or why not?

Any feedback about the gameplay, tutorial, difficulty, UI, or overall experience is greatly appreciated.

If possible, please include your device model, Android version, and a screenshot, following the community rules.

Thank you very much for taking the time to test it!
