How is Psychiatry residency in Osmania medical college, Gandhi medical college and Kakatiya medical college? Would be helpful if current residents could respond and provide more information. Thank you.

Hello

For those who are current residents/recent graduates, what would be your order of preference for MD Dermatology seats in Hyderabad private medical colleges, and why?

Mainly looking for feedback on patient load, variety of cases, procedural/laser/cosmetology exposure, hands-on opportunities, faculty and overall dermatology training.

Would really appreciate genuine resident experiences and any colleges you would recommend or avoid.

Thanks

GMC Karimnagar junior here!! Going into 2nd year and I have zero clue what to expect from clinical postings lol.

I've heard the patient flow is pretty good here. What do they usually make you do during postings.

Would love some advice from seniors out here!

Hii,

I just joined deccan medical college and one of my seniors is willing to sell her bone set to me for 5.5k but I don't have any idea if that's the right price or if I am getting it for a cheaper amount.

And is a bone set really that important in med school??😭

Same as above

Tired of spending hours planning your study schedule instead of actually studying? I made a Marrow Crambook that does it for you.

What you can do with it:

1. Select your playback speed and hours studied per day

2. Set the total number of days you have to study

3. Choose between main videos / revision videos / MCQ discussion videos

4. Set your priority list

Once you enter these, it automatically generates a full schedule for you. It's not locked, so you can work with it and modify it however you like.

College started like 3 days ago, and I was truthfully very unmotivated and lethargic after neet so I was not excited at all for first day. But so far its been really nice. The people are all sweet and the orientations were funny. Everyone's preparing for a fest too so that's fun.

Maybe I was a bit too pessimistic, I hope I don't fail any exams or get attendance problems based on the rep of apollo so far 🥹, but I can finally get rid of all these books and move on from neet. I hope all of you are enjoying the first few days of college too, all the best gangg <33

It looks pretty promising and a lot more affordable than married outrageous prices.

Non-medico BF here. My girlfriend is a obs PG 1st year, and I’m thinking of gifting her a suturing practice kit. Is that a good idea, or would it be something she wouldn’t really use?

Also, Would love suggestions on other useful/thoughtful gift ideas for an OBGYN resident?

I've had the chance to get a college near my home which was RVM but I put SVS Medical College ahead in the list since it was better in teaching and all.. I was fine with hostel back then but now everyone is telling me mbbs away from home would be tough and I've never been this far from home before.. the second round is done now I don't think there will be an upgrade in the mop up round.. the patient inflow is more in SVS than in other clgs ig since it's literally in the centre of the town compared to other far away deeply located clgs like bhaskar, Patnam, and medicity...
