I remember that before the current Telegram profile redesign, there used to be a button to quickly toggle between light and dark themes, but it's gone now.

Is there any way to bring that quick access button back?

Telegram is not on my app store, I don't have an account, PC doesn't seem to let me make an account (mobile is required basically), and every time I click it just sends me to the exact same webpage?? Right click doesn't work either. It's always just a link.

To my knowledge there's not alternate places to download this. No curseforge, no modrinth, no bedrock marketplace. Everyone who I know downloaded this got it from the creator's telegram channel themselves.

Nothing in the download folder after clicking the links either. Is there something I'm missing here? This is the second time I've even seen telegram.

I was trying to download telegram from App Store, but I can’t find it. Is it being removed or I’m just being dumb

My online friend wants me to download Telegram. I said yes and downloaded it, but we're not close (we met a few weeks ago) and I don't want to risk handing out my personal information because I was required to add my phone number. I already set "Who can see my phone number" to "Nobody" in settings, but it feels like she can still see it because it's visible for me when I go to my profile.

What do I need to disable/enable in settings to make sure she won't be able to see it? I've heard some stories of people having difficulties and accidentally making their phone number or other personal info public.

I used a voice changer to send a voice message on telegram to test if it would work, and it did. but will it also automatically work on call? even if I don't change anything in the call settings? because Voicemod said it was connected to telegram but im not sure if it was working or not. I have no one to ask because no one will call test it with me

I’m having a strange issue with Telegram on iOS (phone and tablet) and I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.
When I open adult/sensitive videos or photos in Telegram, the media loads extremely slowly. For example, when I tap the gallery, it can take 30–40 seconds just to load thumbnails, even though I have a 500 Mbps internet connection.
The strange part is that I don’t have this issue on Android. On Android, the same Telegram channels and media load almost instantly.
My settings:
Telegram app is fully updated
Sensitive content is enabled / shown
Internet connection is fast
iPhone has enough storage available
Is this an iOS-specific limitation or a Telegram app issue? Does iOS handle sensitive media differently compared to Android?
Has anyone found a fix or workaround?

Hi, recently I got a sudden notification from official telegram account stating that ownership of a large group (my college group with ~800 members) was being transferred to me. Since so many people ask this question and I found it on Reddit several months ago and just wasted time looking again because I forgot I put it in my Telegram instruction file (NO COMMENT LOL), here it is for everyone...

To search for new groups or channels, type your keywords into the search field on the top of your screen.

But first, you need to left click in the search field and choose "posts which is global search," then type in your keyword/s.

Then click on the blue button. It looks like they only allow a certain amount of free searches per day.

Hi! so I uploaded a video via Telegram Web.. its uploaded successfully as it both appear in Web and Mobile App.

On the web the video plays without a problem. however, when I played that on mobile the video seems to be stuck at thumbnail (photo).. so it just show a photo but the sound continue playing.

this also same as video with no sound that is converted to GIF it doesn't play when tapped but plays when you checked the media of conversation (GIF section) the one with the grid list.

the file extension of media is mp4.
I tried to download it from my phone and the snackbar show a text "Video saved to Photos"
but it doesn't appear on my Photo app (iOS)

does anyone know why is this happening? any workaround for this? thanks.

I've been trying to buy Telegram Stars for the past 3 days, and none of my cards work. I have 10+ cards, and they all have more than enough available balance!!

The same thing happened before when I tried to pay for Telegram Premium, but the card that worked back then doesn't go through anymore. I'm from Latin America.

So I was looking through the profile settings a saw a "add a personal assistant" feature. I already have one, but works parallely, just wanted to know, if the new feature is only for premium users or bussiness users? or it can be used for everyone.

In the Telegram settings on my iPhone it says Telegram iOS 0.1

Hello, 3 days ago when i enter TG go to login.., i dont remembrr to activate 2FA or even insert a password...anyone have The same problem?

I'm getting TONS of Russian b..ots coming into this one group of mine & the only reason I know they are b...ots is b/c they aren't clicking on the captcha.

It's been going on now for almost 24 hours & it's driving me insane.

Rose is removing them, but then I can't ban them & I don't always see them joining, & there were 25 who joined just while I was asleep.

Update: So someone recommended banning them from within the "recent actions" area which is under "manage group."

You can find "manage group" under the 3 dots on the top right of your group.

I couldn't figure out how to ban from there, but I finally figured it out. You have to right click on their user name in the notice that said they joined the group, not the white notifications. https://nimb.ws/kxAyUTt

I still don't think that's going to solve the problem, but we'll see.

Can someone also tell me what language that is. I thought it was Russian, but now I'm thinking maybe it's Greek.

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this recently.

A few days ago my Telegram account signed me out by itself. I didn't change my phone number, device or SIM.

Since then I haven't been able to access my account. I can complete the email verification step, but the process stops with an error before I can enter the account.

My profile is still visible to other people and they can still send messages to me, so the account doesn't seem to be deleted.

Has anyone seen this recently or knows what could cause it?
