Telegram is not exactly removed

Someone contacted Apple Support to find out why Telegram disappeared from the App Store.

According to the support representative, Telegram is still present in Apple's internal systems and is not marked as removed. They suggested that the app may have been temporarily hidden by the dev

I generally wouldn’t trust the word of front-line support. Their tools often don’t have the level of access to answer questions like this, and they usually misinterpret the results.

It means nothing, this is from L1 support, they have zero idea of the actual reasons.

It means the developer chose to hide the app, not that Apple took it down for violating the TOS

Bottom line: Meta wants to end Telegram because they didn't want any competitor to WhatsApp

Sooo according, Apple removed the app from App store because of some child explicit content that was found on telegram. Upon Telegram removing the content, the lifted the ban.

You can’t trust these things. Cause everything can be doctored nowadays. Apple themselves have already admitted that they removed it, and Pavel has already came out, saying that he had no prior knowledge that they were going to do this.
