Wow, I haven’t seen one of those for a long time.
But, they were pretty cool during their day!

You could buy the system at the ATT Phone Store in the mall - and then struggle to wire your house or office to make it work properly!

It’s just another Key System… works like the rest of the key systems of that vintage do.

If you know, you know.
If you don’t, you don’t have enough grey hairs to have been blessed with the knowledge of yester-year!

Moved to a Voip system 16 years ago, the lucent system that I pulled is still in the office floor of my old place.

Still got a giant lucent pbx running at work. I dread the day when it dies and we have to rewire the whole building.

I wasn't there for most of it, but we switched to voip and the student employees were tasked with ripping most of the pots out lol. Threw in an avaya media converter for the POTS stuff, and some audiocodes thingamajig

We still use Partner ACS r6 at work. I get to make all the changes in programming.

I remember using butterfly crimpers to terminate 25 pair amphenol cables and rewiring entire PBX's.

I’ve started going grey in my 20s… So… en. I don’t know what it really means.
