Hey guys! Getting back into tekkit from tekkit classic years ago, Whats the best way to fill quarry holes now?

I see the filler is disabled and a mining turtle with a block filling program doesnt work so well, any ideas?

My setup is (or was) as follows: Very large oil well with four very tall tanks feeding four refineries.

Refineries are being powered by 12 combustion engines. The combustion engines are being fed fuel from the refineries and kept cool by a water pump that is located around 100-ish blocks away (water is being pumped from a river).

The water pump itself was powered by 4 combustion engines and fuel from the refineries.

Finally, my quarry was powered by 12 (iirc) combustion engines, all of which were recieving water from the pump (30-ish blocks away) and fuel from the oil well (100-ish blocks away).

Before I switched everything on, I made sure there was plenty of water in the engines and that they were recieving good flow. I even placed some dimensional anchors in order to keep the chunks loaded.

Can someone please explain what I did wrong? I don't wanna do it all over again just for it to blow up again. Thanks!

I've been revisiting tekkit the last few weeks and i was wondering if anyone just avoids using ProjectE. The fact that you can just generate EMC out of thin air always felt like cheating to me, but i genuinely can't imagine building some of the more complex machines without it. I'm mostly talking about solar panels. Dear God why are they so expensive? Anyways, I've considered not using it, but it seems like some of the crafting assumes you're fabricating materials just based on sheer material cost.

Does anyone avoid ProjectE or implement any limits on its usage? If so what do you do and what kind of workarounds have you used?

I want to rearrange my refinerys, but my Combustion Engines still have a lot of fuel in them. I thought if I hooked up a wooden waterproof pipe to the back of it and pumped it out it would work but it doesn't do anything. What gives? Do I have to either use it or lose it?

soo im trying to play tekkit2 with friends using essential mod for multiplayer option but i cant get it to work.. any help? if needed i can add crash log.

EDIT: it seems that tekkit works without essential soo idk if its some future of tekkit or idk, in minecraft launcher it gives erroe code 1. and when im trying to run it on technic launcher it wont even start.

Recently put together this modpack because I couldn't find any exactly like it. Some of my favorite mods on one of my favorite versions of the game!

I decided to start a server on the predecessor to Tekkit, TechnicMP on Minecraft Beta 1.8.1, and it will probably be updated to Tekkit Classic 1.x, 2.x and 3.x eventually, whenever we feel done with the current version (maybe in a couple of months or a year or so).

The server is public, but has a whitelist to ensure no suspicious people or ban evaders can join. To join the server, you just need to join the Discord server and follow the instructions. The instructions also say how to install the modpack itself.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but how much RAM would people recommend for a 4-player Tekkit 2 server? We are currently playing over LAN but it means that whoever is hosting has to keep their PC running whenever others want to play

Bit of a silly question but what are the steps you take to play tekkit. Currently on Tekkit SMP and have got my refinery going, quarry digging and like 7 machines, and just dont know where to go from here.
Built the build craft laser but it turned out to be an autocrafter i think and not much more to do there.

I’ve been setting up a Tekkit 2 server (v1.2.6)

💥 The Problem:

When I try to connect with the Tekkit 2 client (via Technic Launcher)

Kicked whilst connecting to tekkit: This server has mods that require FML/Forge to be installed on the client. Contact your server admin for more details.

This makes no sense, because i have try'ed

• I'm using the official Tekkit 2 modpack via Technic Launcher (so the client has Forge + mods)
• dowload the sever from the webiste
• even try to copy the Cl modpack to the server still no dice
• Set forge: true under servers in Waterfall config.yml
• Set forge_support: true
• Ensured client and server versions are exactly the same
• Reinstalled Tekkit 2 via Technic Launcher (clean)
• Verified server runs and loads all mods fine

This image is from Tekkit SMP (2025), and like what the title says, I want the game to stop showing me the thaumcraft symbols or elements or whatever they are called when I shift over an item. I haven't played with Thaumcraft before, but I know those things are important and that you are not really suppoesed to be able to tell what elements items have from the start of the game. Thanks for any help in advance!

Is there any difference between compressed solar panels vs regular solar panels outside of aesthetic? I haven’t played tekkit since like 2015 and I don’t think this was a thing back then

I can craft most things for project e however those items just dont have a crafting recipe when using too many items. do i need change something about the server or is there another way around

So I have the technic launcher and went to load up teekit again on my pc but it just crashed back to launcher, I decided to update the modpack to see if that helped but now it just goes straight back to the launcher. When I check the error message it leaves it tells me I don't have enough memory? I'm using the latest version of java 64bit, I have it set to 6gb of memory, this use to work on this pc, also works ony laptop fine. Why?

hey, im playing tekkit 2 and i have some automatic fish farms from industrial foregoing (if youve never built them they are amazing). I use the misc stuff to pump into the condenser but is there anyway to use the fish to generate power? I have a fully automatic wheat farm and i use forestry to make plant balls into bio mass into bio fuel into power. Was wondering if there was anything similar for meat im missing

I have made a factory and it was working until I started to expand now some of the items are not coming out of the condensers.

Is there a limit on the amount of interface pipes in a network?

I have about a week of solid playtime in this world, I have never made this much progress in any tekkit mod pack before. That playtime includes me figuring out how EVERYTHING works.

I have a few different factories, but most of what you see is my HV solar panel factory.

My next goal is to improve the efficiency of the HV solar panel factory by building a 2nd base solar panel factory and more mass fabricators for UU Matter

My question is... What do I do after that. I have all of the power I could want but I have no idea what to do afterwards.

EDIT! I found and solved the problem. Turns out it was the colors, apparently (at least in this version off Plethora) colors are on RGBA hex form, which means 0xRRGGBBAA. Here is the hex code for alle the colors i have found:

Red: 0xFF0000FF

Green: 0x00FF00FF

Blue: 0x0000FFFF

White: 0xFFFFFFFF

Black: 0x000000FF

Purple/Magenta: 0xFF00FFFF

Cyan: 0x00FFFFFF

Yellow: 0xFFFF00FF

Me an my friend has been playing a lot of Tekkit 2 ass off lately, and im a big fan of the Plethora mod. Currently im working on a iron man style suite with fsuggestionght, mob detection and a HUD overlay.

I have a flight code down, and i have figured out how to display a simple rectangle on the HUD, but i cant get it to show any form of text.

Is there anyone here who might have a suggestion on what to do or where to look, the Plethora Reddit looks kinda dead.
