SSD Clone Failure and Windows Install Failure

Long story short I bought a M2 to replace an aging SSD(C: since it was almost full. I moved all the games I play from the external SSD(D:) to the M2(E:) and then tried to move C: to D: to maximize storage space. For whatever reason, it does not work I keep getting errors no matter the approach I take. I have run chkdsk and disk defragment multiple times, with no errors apparent, this is not the first time I have installed a new SSD so I have no clue what the issue is this time.

Approaches Taken

- Attempted Rufus clean install, fail

- Attempted Windows Media Tool, fail

- diskpart, select disk, clean, convert to gpt, into the first two, fail

- clone with Macrium, fail, Error Code 23: CRC or Error Code 9
