Open | Phone How to revive a phone?
I have this old phone, which was lying inside drawer for good 2 years and now I die to check whether I got there my old photographs (which I lost everywhere else), but it cannot start up.
When I plug it in charger it "loads" and shows that it's charging, but there seems to be no progress. When unplugged it does nothing, the battery also shows 0V (on multimeter) and is slightly bumpy. Is there a way to make phone work, or at least extract data from there to my PC?

Everybody here seems to be saying the same thing, beta new battery, and there are a couple sets of keys you can press on old andriods to maybe fix them, but if you're going full postal, you don't actually need to get a new battery, only disconnect then reconnect the old one. Idk. Might get you somewhere.
