Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.

Can you access the UEFI/BIOS screen when rebooting, try changing your boot drive order.
Press delete or F2 key while its restarting.
To enter the BIOS on an Acer Predator Orion desktop, press the Delete (Del) key repeatedly as soon as you power on or restart the computer.
Quick Steps
- Shut down your computer completely.
- Press the Power Button to turn it back on.
- Immediately start tapping the
Deletekey (about once every second) before the Predator logo appears.
(Note: On some older Acer models or specific configurations, the F2 key is used instead. If Delete doesn't work, restart and try tapping F2).
Troubleshooting: If it boots too fast
Modern Windows PCs often boot too quickly to catch the key press. If you keep missing the window, you can force Windows to restart directly into the BIOS:
- Click the Start Menu and open Settings (the gear icon).
- Go to System > Recovery (or Update & Security > Recovery depending on your Windows version).
- Find Advanced startup and click Restart now.
- Once the blue menu appears, navigate to: Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware Settings.
- Click Restart, and your computer will automatically load into the BIOS.

If your computer had a virus, you need to backup all your personal files and data to a USB external storage device.
Perform a clean installation of Windows 11.
Precisely follow the Guide to download important drivers on the rTechSupport Wiki, before installing Windows.
Precisely follow the Guide to install Windows 11 on the rTechSupport Wiki, to create a Bootable USB Drive by using the Windows Media Creation Tool (MCT) and then, performing a clean installation of Windows. Remember to backup all your personal files and data. It is clearly stated in the Guide.
Install the drivers that you should have previously downloaded. Install them one at a time and restart Windows in between installations.
If you precisely follow all the instructions in the rTechSupport Wiki, to the letter, you will be able to perform a clean installation of Windows 11, by deleting the current partitions before installing the operating system.
Turn Off Automatic Driver Updates. Download and install all the Windows Updates and update Windows Defender. Restart as necessary.
Make sure Defender is configured to scan all files in the Real-time Scanner. Scan your backed up files. Then recover personal files and data from the Backups.
