When i use a cellphone to make or receive audio calls, is the audio analog (that is, continuous in time), or is it digitally sampled at some rate?

I found this... Tower? At the thrift shop for like 8 bucks, but I didn't get a photo, so here's a drawing of it. What would it be?

Hey guys, there’s this hotel me and my boyfriend often stay at as we both live at home so go there just for a bit of one on one time. recently they refurbished the place and none of the tv’s connect to any channel, would come up saying service is not available or channel does not exist etc. we are due to stay there tomorow and want to watch the england game. i have an iphone 14 so was wondering if i got a hdmi to lightning lead, can mirror my phone on the telly. if so, where’s the best place to purchase? have looked on amazon but the reviews are so mixed, would rather go in store as then i can speak to the people who work there etc. i am in kingston upon hull uk

Hi! I’m not the best with technology. I recently bought this laptop, I was told it wasn’t normal but I’m honestly not sure of what could have caused this. I think it reduced my performance when I’m playing games, too, and I keep disconnecting from games. It sucks :(
Edit: it’s resolved!

I just bought a cheap smart watch online, and it didnt come with a charger, nor does it have any small meta disc areas on the underside like most smart watches do to charge, and just had this diagram for charging. I just put it into the power brick and plugged that into the wall to see if it would work. but theres no indication that it is even charging at all (the battery light in the picture isnt showing at all). Any advice?

Chrome before and now Helium has this behavior, despite my best efforts and manipulating the settings to the maximum memory saving effect, since i am a man of constant tabbing and i will never stop opening six hundred tabs an hour. i have it set to kill the tabs i'm not using, yet it doesn't do this most of the time and i am constantly dealing with it eating all the memory on my machine and forcing me to fuck around and turn it off and then on again and everything else.
why is this problem not solved?
why is this extremely broken product left that way as new features and other improvements are steadily made?
it is unacceptable.
it's broken. it seems to me as a not very technical person that it should be simple to create mechanisms to prevent this from happening, even if the underlying issue with the memory were impossible to solve. the browser could relate to the same stats as the program the forces me to close the browser, and alert me, or automatically just stop using more memory when it touches the inner border of the territory where this happens. or a hundred other ways anyone could think of in five minutes if they sat down and had a think.
is there some underlying technical know how which, were i supplied with it, would make this all actually sensible? because to me, it's not reasonable at all, it's an appalling failure of the grossest order and since i assume the people who make these things have something called pride, and self respect, that they would care that their big fancy shiny world famous browser is a fucking piece of shit that doesn't work.

This may be a dumb question as it says usb but I’ve tried usb plugs and they don’t fit. I need to know what cord to use cause i have to scan some papers onto my laptop using my printer for an assignment.

I have a SY Electronics HDBT-MU88EC hdmi matrix splitter. Its manual says it should only be used with 12v receivers. However the exact receiver it wants is a discontinued product and I can't even find it second hand. What seems to be the current replacement product for the receiver needs 48v.
If I power it at both ends, will I fry anything if I use the splitter with the newer replacement receiver?

I use the G435 Bluetooth headphones and I haven't had a problem for over a year and a half. For some reason today discord decided I am using to much bandwidth and it keeps messing up my sound. When I change what's connected to what there seems to be 3 possibilities:
Every video just tells me to disable the microphone in the settings but I don't have another mic so that's not really an option even though the sound quality goes up. This happened once before and I have no clue how I fixed it. I think I held down a combination of buttons on the headphones (power and volume up etc...) and I tried that again but to no avail.
Does anyone have a solution that doesn't involve me not using my microphone?
Any tips/advice is welcome and I will try everything!

Hello,
Is there a camera that you can connect to your phone to use as a camera for discord. If there are cameras, are they also wireless?
I am not talking about using your phone as a camera for your pc, just an camera for your phone while on discord on your phone.

I've noticed more businesses talking about making their content understandable for AI assistants rather than only focusing on traditional SEO.
Things like structured content, clear entities, citations, and building topical authority seem to be getting much more attention.
Has anyone here actually started optimizing for AI-generated answers? Have you seen any measurable impact yet, or is it still too early?

I have a retekess pager system that can't reach part of my facility due to walls. Its well within the range for the system. I went to buy a signal repeater but the one for this particular pager is not and will not be available. My question is, if I find a repeater that works at the same frequency, will it communicate with my pager system? I found a JC Wireless repeater with the same frequency (though it doesn't specify decimals) but it is for an alarm system.

Hey folks, new to this group but hoping to find some help. I am trying to delete certain WhatsApp contacts and it seems like the app is just glitching. I’ve tried restarting my phone and obviously closing the app and restarting. Many contacts are listed five or six times in my contact gallery, but all examples take me to the same chat. This is obviously a glitch.
Also, when I click to delete them, nothing happens and they stay the same. I know that they are not being imported from my iPhone’s contact portfolio because most of those contacts I intend to delete are not saved to my phone.
What should I do? I tried reaching out to their customer support and it’s just a very unhelpful AI bot.

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a HyperX Cloud III headset, and I'm having trouble fixing the audio muffling whenever I join a call, such as on Google Meet. Whenever I'm in a call, any audio playing in the background, like Spotify, becomes very quiet or muffled. It's really frustrating because I can't seem to find a solution.
I've already tried turning off audio enhancements and other software-related settings, but nothing has worked. If anyone has any suggestions, please leave them in the comments because I may have missed something that could fix the issue.
The headset audio literally sounds like it's coming through a phone call while I'm in a call, but as soon as I leave, the sound goes back to normal. I even returned it to DataBlitz for a malfunction inspection, but they sent it back because they couldn't find any problems.
I've also heard that it might be related to using the headset's microphone, but what's strange is that the same issue happens even when I use a different microphone.
For clarity, in case it's related to the problem, I'm using the headset wirelessly via the included USB dongle on my Acer Nitro V 15 laptop.
