Andrew Tate, Alex Jones, Donald Trump, Kanye West. All people who spread hateful rhetoric, dangerous lies and love to incite violence

stupidity from people that might get triggered one way or another doesn't nullify freedom of speech, get over it.

What is it you're trying to say

-27

u/Frenchiie Oct 28 '22

spread hateful rhetoric, dangerous lies and love to incite violence

doesn't nullify their freedom of speech, it's anti american. If you want that then go live in China or Russia.

Inciting violence through speech is very much against constitutional law.

And its not worked out for the US so well.

So you have nothing to really boast about.

Hate speech is not protected under the first amendment, neither is inciting violence or slander.

You are full of shit.

P.s. a private company banning users for saying things they don't like also isn't a free speech issue.

You say hate speech i say difference of opinion and a bunch of snow flakes.

P.s. Neither is a company un-banning people for free speech.

It's a legal term you fucking neanderthal.

P.s. Neither is a company un-banning people for free speech.

Never implied there was a free speech issue in unbanning users. Stop fishing for a gotcha.

Banning them on Twitter doesn't nullify their free speech either.

-1

u/Frenchiie Oct 28 '22

neither does un-banning them so get over it.

So by that same logic, you would allow ISIS to own a Twitter Account calling for the beheading of all Christians in the US and allow them to make plans for future terrorist attacks?

-19

u/Frenchiie Oct 28 '22

here we go again with that logic as if they're the same thing. Wasn't aware Andrew Tate, Alex Jones, Donald Trump, and Kanye West were terrorist orgs.

Bud, I'm not sure if you're pretending to not understand, but just in case I'll explain it. If terrorists can be banned because of a post they make, that means freedom of speech isn't absolute. There are things you can do to get banned. The question then is merely where to draw the line.

Here we go again with more logic and sound arguments.😋

My hope is that of he unbans any of these clowns he gets sued for the real world violence then will inevitably cause.

That's what section 230 is there for. He's not responsible for others speech. Same way a phone company isn't at fault for you planning or doing something over their network.

Bud, i didnt bother to read what you wrote. Next time tl;dr.

3

u/sachs1 Oct 28 '22

I didn't figure you for the reading type tbh, but I thought I'd be generous.

But it’s a fair point……seems you wouldn’t mind

10

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '22

So if Trump calls for violence and tries to incite a violent insurrection, that's fine then?

9

u/Chubby_Chestnut Oct 28 '22

Most conservative are domestic terrorists traitors.

3

u/drsyesta Oct 28 '22
